First time oxycodone = well on my way to opiate addiction?

really? why? both of those movies blew, and it was obvious that the producers had less than zero first hand experience with the drugs they chose to feature --both being completely predictable, with the usual "drug culture" cliches abound.

not so much.
Spun is just another addict-glorifying comedy, which completely missed the mark. A familiar brain-fart, if you will. --and it was just as terrible the first time I saw it in 1999, when it was called "Go".

Only the movies that you just recommended he watch portray drugs in such a light. You're now contradicting yourself full-circle.

i am addict to roxys. 15mg or better yet 30mg. i starsted taking lorcet 10mg and here i am today. 2 yrs down the road. i get a scrip of 120 roxy 15mg. i have 2 kids that r very well taken care of but i have lost everything. my house,my fiancee an addict also(we r still together) he hasnt worked in a yr and a half, i am lookin at breaking and entering charges bc of my fiancee, just so we could buy some pills. now i look back, none of it was worth it! flush ur pills down the toilet. lately ive been shooting them at night. 9 yrs ago i was shooting oc 80mg. i was 15yrs old. i am 24 now and i see where i went wrong and u will too. i know u are still going to do ur pills but just know that u will go to jail for something bc of the pills and u will wish u could do it all over again! I am so happy I did not end up getting addicted to this stuff! I moved on after the bottle was empty. unfortunately I am still a drug addict. I had about a year clean though last year. I tried hydromorphone and the circumstances were right for me to move on afterwards (it was in a hospital and I didn't take it by will). But I would've been addicted in a snap if it were legal.

J. Wallace. great story man. it made a lot of sense to me. as i, too, can relate to the slipper slope.
