I recently gained access to watson fentanyl gel patches, 25mcg per hour, 2.5mgs total. They have been worn for the 72-hours already, so if everything went on schedule with the releasing of the drug I'm thinking there is probably 700mcg of fentanyl in there. give or take a few hundred mcgs because of activity and heat. I've been using opiates on and off for about 4-5 years now so I'm not opiate naive. My current tolerance is about 120mg of morphine plugged to get an okay nod. Is this tolerance too low to try to catch a buzz safely from the fentanyl? I was thinking that the limited amount of gel, and the fact that they are a lower dosage patch would possibly help out with the safety as well. I was planning on trying 1/4 of the patch buccally, thinking it would be a dosage in the range of 100-300mcgs - later moving up to a half patch if needed. Does this sound like a relatively safe way to go about this? Is my tolerance too low to even think about it?
