Reports in today's paper (Courier Mail) that the prison staff didn't notice anything until 25 minutes after the beating? Good job guys; obviously hard at work monitoring those high profile crims in that vastly expensive, maximum security prison... yep...

Ha ha, I'm glad you get a laugh out of them. :)

Sometimes they aren't so bad, sometimes when I have manic episodes it's very euphoric. Don't know if you've already read this because I posted it recently, but I used to believe I was sent by G-d to defend the State of Israel. I was struck by religious zealousness and was infused with energy and obsessiveness and mood elevation like I was on meth... I got in massive arguments with my high school modern history teacher over Israel, as she was pro-Palestinian, and eventually I accused her of anti-Semitism and had her investigated by the teacher's board! I remember she was kinda traumatized by how I changed from a great student to one with a vendetta against her, eventually I wasn't even allowed to go near her.

I was all prepared to go to Israel as well and join the Tzaval (IDF, Israeli Defense Forces) until the mania dropped off and then I went into a depressive phase again. :\

Yeah, I was under the impression he mainly dealt in amphetamines. Could be horribly mistaken, though.

It's going to be very interesting as this story progresses. I think there's a hell of a lot yet to come out, especially the rumours that he was going to roll over in regards to corruption. The fact that the guards were so oblivious to the assault is also highly suspicious. Watch this one closely, shit could hit the fan.
