films: best sports movie? (last call for nominations for a poll)

The Natural, Field of Dreams, Hoosiers, Rudy...you can't go wrong. I'm not ashamed to admit Rudy was the last movie to make me cry.

All of them are second to Bad News Bears. No mention of the sequels please.

Wasn't there a film called something like Major Leage?I think i remember it having Madonna init, this would have to go down as the worst sport film in history-multiple cinema walkouts.

^Madonna starred in A League of their Own which was about the start of Women's baseball during WWII.

Major League had Charlie Sheen in it and was a goofy movie about the Indians ball club.

Thanks for clearing that up,wasn't that keen on A League Of Their Own but i think i remember Major League being quite good???

Thought Basketball was fucking briliant, laughed my ass off.
I was quite surprised to learn ages after i saw it that it was Matt Stone and Trey Parker-genuis.

Rudy, The Natural and Field of Dreams, not necessarily in that order.
