Ok, I just saw this preview for the first time last night and truth be told it spooked the shit out of everyone in the theater:

I really dig the premise of the film and think it has the potential to be one of those movies that makes you sleep with the light on for weeks after seeing it.

yay, it comes out this friday! Ive heard that some of the sounds are real recordings. Wonder if thats true???

Ive heard these recordings on the radio station I listen to, they sound pretty fricken scary but the group of "ghost hunters" that go to these different places seem pretty sincere and passionate about their work. Hmmm must be an interesting job, where can I sign up?

EVP is a real paranormal phenomenon (if that phrase makes any sense), but they're using it to structure a Hollywood plot. If I ever feel like wasting 45 minutes of my life to listen to a silent audio recording, I might try it sometime.

I think this movie looks very good. Although most movies lately haven't been as good as they look. I will stil probably check this one out.

Fucking A, nobody I know has the balls to go see this with me - everyone is too damn scared! Just when I am about to make fun of them for being too scared to see it I am reminded of the fact that I am too fucking yellow to see it by myself!

Oh no...its getting really bad ratings so far. Damn, I've been waiting for a kick ass, scary as hell, make you have nightmares kind of movie like The Exorcist but I guess I should just give up all hope .

^^^Yeah I know, it really makes me depressed when movies have great potential and end up being lame. I think I'll just see the Woodsman, these more low budget, Sundance film dramas seem to be a lot better overall. I love dark movies that deal with controversial topics, maybe I should stay away from the so-called "horror" films for a while, they just bum me out when they suck ass!!!!

My roomate said the movie itself wasn't great but there were a lot of jumpy scenes that put a chill in you.
