wow, nasty ratings. i am giving up hope on being scared (physchologically ala silence of the lambs or so- not jump at a loud noise/dude jumping into the frame with kinfe)
I just saw it yesterday and it was better then i thought it was going to be. I think it was based on a true story, but i dont know. There were some parts that make you jump, but other parts that drag the movie on. I wouldnt actually classify it as a scary movie, just more of a suspense thriller with a twist of scary. I gave it three stars.
It was like The Darkness and The Grudge hooked up,fucked and had a baby. It's name....White Noise. I give up on horror movies. The Boogyman has crap written all over it. I won't see another "horror" movie until The Ring 2,and I don't have high hopes for that one either.
I saw this last night. Nothing special really. I didn't consider it to be very scary, but my expectations for it weren't really that high either. I had seen previews for it and it looked interesting enough, I just ended up seeing it because it was it was the next movie starting when I got to the theater. The premise is really a lot more interesting than the film itself. I think the idea of EVP could make for a really great film, but this just wasn't it.

Hey. I know you. You used to be me. Shot down in my prime before I even got an avatar. I still agree with my above statement and The Ring 2 did turn out to be complete and utter shit.
