I loved The Sixth Sense. Unbreakable was just OK. Signs was crap. The Village and Lady In The Water bored me to tears. But,if The Happening is as good as the trailer,M. Night might actually be able to regain his filmmaking credability again.

When I first saw the poster,I though it was going to be some religious movie about the Rapture. I was wrong.

"The Happening is a paranormal thriller in which a family must survive a global environmental crisis.[1] The film will portray the earth's plants unleashing airborne neurotoxins that cause people to commit violent suicide. Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschanel star as an estranged couple who must escape this apocalyptic epidemic."

Sounds good, trailer looks good, let's see if he delivers this time.

If its as good as his early work, it will still be half-assed...

looks like more of the same to me. i won't see it like i didn't see his last couple.

and that is probably the worst title i have ever seen.

How this guy is able to keep putting out movies is beyond me. I'd rather go watch a Michael Bay movie marathon.

^they're both parodied superbly in the imaginationland trilogy in south park. hilarious stuff!

i like all his movies alot. though, some are better than others. this one looks good.

i'll probably watch it. i like that Zooey lady.

oh how i love m night shamalamadingdong movies

this one looks interesting...marky mark ftw

lol @
Green Planet (USA) (working title)
The Green Effect (USA) (working title)

seriously, worst title ever.

it might as well have been called "Dramatic Turn of Events" or "Stuff!"

His trailers are ALWAYS better than the films they're about.

Hahahaha! :D

Saw the trailer on tv the other day and it was okay. (Never saw this thread, and never heard of the new shamalamadingdong movie).

When I saw the title , I started convulsing violently. It totally ruined everything for me :(

the best title for one of his movies would be SURPRISE ENDING.

^yeah or "Twister 2: There's a Twist in the end, that may or may not be a Twister, or a possibly sandwich even!"

and then there'd be a Witch made entirely of sand at the conclusion.

oh i get it :|

Though I want to see this, The Village left a very, very bad taste in my mouth. I didn't even see the last one he made. And as aforementioned, the title is absolutely ridiculous.

That's my feeling, also. The Village pretty much killed his credibility for me. That one about the mermaid has never graced my screen.

One 1 star vote and one 5 star vote. The movie hasn't even came out yet.

I wish the polls wouldn't go up until the movie is actually in theaters.

one of those votes was from m. night shambalambamna himself and the other was his mothers.

yes, they're both bluelighters. guess which ones. i'm sure you'd be pleasantly surprised.

the polls go up early for early screenings and illegal copy viewers and such.
