Got the DVD the other day. There's lots of great extras on it.
I found out why I believe Data mentioned an Octopus at the end. Well, one of the deleted scenes had an octopus attack scene. I guess Speilberg figured there wasn't really a point to have an octopus. And Chunk is doing good, he's gone to college and he actually looked pretty good.
And yeah, his fatness is pretty normal now. I prolly have the same body fat index as he does, and I'm not fat by today's standards.

yeah ive actually seen goonies on tbs or something where they show the scene with the octopus. it looked like they were wrestling with an inflatable tube. i just like how at the end of the movie data says that line and there is no octopus because the scene has been cut

that asian nigga was grimey as hell, always had some booby trap or explosives on him, must of been a tweaker.

this movie is classic for me. not only is it a great, fun story. it's really nostalgic for me as well. minus teh 80's music montages and i could watch this on repeat for days.

One of my favourite childhood films and one I watch with great fondness now.

That Asian kid is great in Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom too...

"No time for love Dr. Jones!"

8o :D

Hahaha good on him :)

When I was young fat kids always wigged me out. I couldn't understand the whole deal. I guess it's pretty commonplace now though.

There should be licensing for parenthood or something.

even as a kid i never really got this film, it has all the right things to make it work but i just cant seem to get into it?

Three stars.

I *loved* it as a kid, but nowadays I don't feel I could identify with the characters or the scenario. For me, this isn't an '80s movie that ages as well as "The Breakfast Club" or "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
