yeah me too. it's a classic. I don't really know why I posted this, I just like saying that to people. They look at me with an astonished reaction. But you can't just say it, you gotta say it just like Chunk does. And you have to pause between the words: have and key and eyed
lol. i wanna watch it again. In fact me and a buddy were talking the other day about getting all the classics from when we were kids . . like neverending story, drop dead fred, monsters, and so on, and just having a flashback day. i dont know those movies just make me feel good. oh yea the princess bride . . .
I was going to merge this thread but to my surprise there is no such 'Goonies' thread to merge this into. So smotpoker you're credited with starting The Goonies thread.
And that, my friend, is something to be very proud of indeed.
I love The Goonies - a classic, timeless film that I never get bored of.
Chunk is a legend (what happened to him?) & it's funny seeing a mini Sean Astin pre-hobbit days.
Big up The Goonies!
P.S. I had a friend at school who was a bit overweight to say the least. He used to take great pride in doing the "Truffle Shuffle" (sp?) at any available opportunity.
This had to be the only movie my mum let me watch as a young squat that had the word shit in it. At least when the pirates vs ninjas argument presented itself i knew what side to align with. What happened to the sequel ?
I just watched this the other day and boy did it take me back. I hadn't seen it in a while, but it was still just as good as it was when I was a wee lad. It still cracks me up. A classic by all means.
