I was walking around downtown around 230am and ran into the filming of this movie. Then it happened again about 5 different times.

I can't wait for it.
I LOVED the last one.

I just really don't think Heath Ledger was the best choice for joker.

^I thought so too, but the still photos I've seen look really promising. I have high hopes for this film.

More on the viral marketing - I follow an online gossip site that usually has the scoop on everything. They posted that on the whysoserious site was a bunch of lightbulbs. You clicked on a bulb and it gave you an address, each bulb's address was different. If you looked up the addresses online, they all lead to bakeries. If you went to the bakery in person, they gave you a package that had a tshirt and some other cool Joker swag.

What did you all think about the HD trailer that's out now?

Wow. It's looking fuckin' great. I'm surprised at how Chicago everything looks...much more so than the first film. I'm really starting to look forward to this film.

yeah, this is going to be awesome. Supposedly Jack N was a bit pissed he didn't even get spoken to for the part. I think Heath is gonna blow everyone away as the joker, that's just me.

Enough of the Heath haters or doubters. Remember not so long ago there was a certain Daniel Craig gonna be playing 007? He blew tham all away & was not on anyone's top 10 list of actors to take over the role. I think we can allow Chris Nolan to make the right choice here, eh?

Me? Well I used to nurse a semi-erection at the thought of Batman ever since I was a wee boy. Now I need psychiatric help & visits to day clinics to help my unhealthy excitement for the dark knight. =D

thats pretty mad, whose directing it? I really liked batman begins (and i actually thought batman and batman returns were really good too)

other than batman begins the only one i really like was the original batman movie by Burton, the 2nd one by burton sucked and the subsequent ones.. yeah, lets just not go there.

quoted for truth

I have always thought that Batman: Returns was a visual masterpiece. say what you will.

screw Heath Ledger, I am most excited about that wonderful actor from Thank You For Smoking (whose name I am too lazy too look up at the moment) is playing Harvey Dent. perfect choice for the role. what I do not understand is that it appears he is going to be the Joker from the viral ads? for those unknowing, in the comics, Harvey Dent was the Two-Face and not the Joker. to reverse this would put a sour taste in my mouth throughout the whole movie, but only because I am a purist.
