Film: The Boondock Saints kiss it or dis it? (merged}

Just saw it at a special showing; a good friend of mine lobbied hard for a free showing at a local theater. I must admit, the vibe from a crowd of enthusiasts is infectious, and much better. If I'd first seen it in the theaters, I'd probably have been sold from the start.

Sorry if this is an overdone thread, I'm new to Bluelight -

Anyway, this has got to be the greatest movie I have ever watched in years. I understand it's some sort of 'cult-classic,' but I've never actually watched it until now, and now that I've seen it - I am absolutely blown away.

I had been looking for a movie like this for a long time, due to Fight Club boring me, [seen it to many times] and I recently came across this.

Anyone know any good movies they'd reccomend like this film?

funny? i don't remember this being too funny. i mean not like LOL funny, but more sarcastic or ironicly funny. hmmmmm.

i liked the movie....seen it about 3-4 times i guess. guess i'm gonna have to brush the dust off it and watch it again cuz so i can see what's so funny.

I've actually just seen the film Overnight which is a documentary about the writer and director of Boondock Saints.

I haven't seen Boondock Saints though, but something tells me the doco is better.
