So who's seen it?
I personally think Andrew Niccol makes a better writer than a director; as much as there was to love about "Gattaca," the whole experience seemed a bit too sterile. That air of detachment, though, suits "Lord of War" pretty well. The narrative moves with assurance, and the acting is pretty good all around.
More than anything, I love how the film lets you drink in the atmosphere of shitholes like Liberia.
