i LOVE this movie. watching this now brings back so many memories from HS. (granted, i only graduated 6 years ago, but it feels longer) my group of friends and i each picked a character and basically memorized all that character's lines in the movie. that's what smoking a lot and watching the same movie on a nearly daily basis will do to you...

Finally a thread about this movie. One of my favorite *stoner* movies of the early nineties (um.....and I don't usually like *stoner* movies with the exception of a very few...) so that say's a lot. I love the hammy acting, the production value, the all-out hilarity of the scenes....and the beautiful cast

i love this movie - it stands up to repeated viewing. also, for me, matthew mcconaughey's finest hour.

if you ever have a chance to watch the edited for television version of this movie please for the love of all thing holy take it! by far some of the worst dubbing this side of teh orient

I love this movie, although it pissed me off that my high school days sucked so bad. Ohh and that main freshman is annoying as hell, but the rest were good.

This movie is right up there with Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Gotta love those good coming of age movies. Especially when they involve drugs. Like most coming of age stories do.

It doesn't so much remind me of what highschool was for me, but what highschool should have been.

I love the scene when the cops are busting them for being on the football field and as they all get up to walk over there Slayter non-chalantly bounces a bag of weed off one of the girls legs. Fuckin' hilarious. :D

you mean the kid that played mitch? i realy enjoyed his performance - i thought he was pretty effortlessly cool. he reminds me of a young bobby gillespie.

my favourite mitch line: "How do you know I haven't already?"
