i recently did catch it. twas a nifty little piece. i like rockwell and this part seems to have been made for him (even though it obviously isn't). i liked where the story went, it's cute, quirky (but not for quirky's sake) and interesting.

Not really... the title of this movie is exactly the same as the title of the book...

Which is based on one of the themes of the movie where the guy chokes on food to make people feel like heroes so they will send him money later...

Not that much misleadingness there...

I rented it the other day and I was impressed how it shifted from the very dramatic to the very (black) comedic, rather effortlessly.

plus, the soundtrack was amazing.

I finally saw this after stumbling upon the dvd and buying it. It was pretty good but, as I had imagined, not as good as the book. I gave it 3 stars. I might have been expecting too much after how great Fight Club turned out as a movie. Angelica Huston was really good.

I'd also give it 3/5. I thought it was entertaining, but I wasn't overly impressed with it.

I dig Chuck's books a lot, but they have to be tough to translate to film. I'm still amazed at what Fincher did with Fight Club.

better than average but not anything amazing. still pretty decent though, as its based on a chuck p novel. hopefully survivor is next.

i thought sam rockwell was perfect, as was the guy who played rock collecting man.

i also loved the sex scene in the chapel.
