Film: Batman Begins

New Batman Movie!

Well recently the Batman movies have been shitty. But perhaps the next one (which is kinda like a prequel) will be better.

The best thing about this is...my Moms best friend has a REALLY REALLY good friend who's playing major role in the movie!!!

I can't say who it is...(sorry) but so far all I know is that in the movie so far is:

Sharon Stone - (I don't know yet)
Halley Barry (sp?) - Catwoman
Christian Bale - Batman
Benjamin Bratt (sp?) - (I don't know yet)

Looks like an awesome line-up so far....hopefully with my connections I can get a picture of the cast autographed by all those awesome stars!!!!!!!

umm Halle berry and Sharon Stone are gonna be in the spin off Catwoman and not involved in the new batman movie,

But the new batman does look promising, Its being Directed by the guy who made Memento and Insomnia, so hopefully it'll be dark instead of the campy stuff it had become, damn you schumaker

personally though only one man will forever be batman for me, Keaton Micheal Keaton

I think that Christian Bale is an excellent (not to mention extremely gorgeous :D ) choise. He's got that bit of darkness about him that Batman has seriously been lacking in the mediocre movies made about him to date. His acting is pretty solid too though. Empire of the Sun is one of my favorite movies ever! I've not seen him in a bad role yet..Okay that dragon movie was pretty crappy but that was not *his* fault. I just hope that they have a decent script this time, and there is no sign of Butt-Girl or Robin. So far it sounds like it's shaping up to be pretty good.

Oh and that Halle Berry catwoman movie seems as if it's going to be crap.

i don't think big names mean shit... all the batman movies had big name actors who've done wonderful roles. I won't go see it in the theater..b/c its pulling crowds from the recent onslaught of comic book turned movies.. and batman movie fans from the last ones.

The first one....incredible.. the second..pretty good. the only superhero movies ever made that were worth a shit.

actually i like where in the first one.. the Joker comes into the museum.. wrecks the place with his little hooligans.

You see them totally destroy a particular painting..the 30 seconds later the painting is in the background..perfect as can be.. untouched.

but umm... as the 2nd one doesn't compare to the 1st.. it sure beats out Batman and Robin and Batman forever.

Michelle is soo fucken hot as catwoman, i will even go as far to say that the only good part of Batman Forever, is Jim Carey who portrayed the Riddler perfectly.. but the movie itself sucks. And the last installment... horrible absolutely horrible.

'Batman Begins' First Look
steady release of a handful of still images (which feature Batman along with his allies, foes and Batmobile), the trailer finally gives fans a taste of what they'll see when he swings into action next year. The trailer first appeared exclusively on the film's official Web site (at batmanbegins.com), but has since been released to numerous outlets — you can see it yourself here.

The film, currently shooting with director Christopher Nolan ("Memento," "Insomnia") at the helm, chronicles millionaire Bruce Wayne's transformation into Batman and his first days as a masked vigilante. The trailer focuses on the early stages of the Batman storyline, introducing us to a boyhood Bruce grieving for his parents. There is also a glimpse of trusted man-servant Alfred, flashes of star Christian Bale in the Batsuit, and — of course — a whole lot of talk about vengeance.

Fans were first teased with images of the new Batmobile (see "The New (Old?) Batmobile: Think Urban-Assault Dune Buggy"), then were treated to shots of Bale crouching in his new Batsuit (see "Meet The New Batman: Bigger, Blacker And Ready For Action").

I'm a little worried about that bat mobile. I think that dune buggy, and the sculpted plastic costume are asking too much of me, a fan who would like a realistic film about batman (for a change).

I likes the aaronofsky batman idea more, where he drove around in a black modified charger, and wore what essentially amounted to a black leather coat and a thin mask.
