I think I was wrong for laughing at the French now that we have met the same fate, we totally deserved it though, we were in a very easy group and still we took 5 goals in 3 matches and never managed to win.
In 2006, we only took 2 goals in the entire tournament(during game time), and one of them was a penalty, we had a very solid defense and although in some games we unleashed some of our sneaky wop greasyness, like diving, etc, we still played well and managed clean wins against teams like Germany.
The thing that annoys me the most is that the team actually has a lot of potential, just never used it, in the last 20 minutes of the game with Slovakia we played like Italy should play, we need a new coach and a new generation of players who will actually have some motivation.
