Festivals 2012

Dear cosmic friends...

This year on June 30th.... upon a magical land that reaches the sky, where water flows and green grass grows, where fairies fly and pixies play... we celebrate our *3 years of light*.... beneath the stars, amidst the trees, on a land which shines ...so bright they will see us from galaxies above!... We will gather together once again, our psychedelic tribes to join us on this journey... to dance together, play together, smile to each other and embrace one another... as we enter our new year ahead of shining bright light....***
The land will be transformed by an amazing mix of talented and visionary artists.... a Gathering space full of psychedelic sounds to transport you into space... the Gaia space will have some ambient chill out to help relax your mind... there will also be a Rejuvenation space with a sauna/hot tub and some regenerating treatments to help soothe and calm....***
Warming spicey chai and vegetarian food will be available all day & night... to warm your heart & nourish your soul... and once the dawn comes we will offer you all to join us in sharing some special birthday cake and fresh fruit ...***

Camping & carparking available, but as always we ask to be as eco friendly as possible and to pool together if possible...

Been a lazy tosser and missed out festys again this year, shoulda sorted myself out sooner. was planning on Glade and Download and a few others. might go to Westfest
 
I'd rather acid and psytrance, if it's all the same to you. Speaking of which, Dan, waveform's cheap and in Taunton.
 
Would've loved to go to NPLD Bogman but unfortunately couldn't due to the dates. Would have been great and it's attracted a lot of the Rathlin Island Festival crowd too as it's the same people (afaik). Have a good time, bound to be great. :)

pity ye cant make it THIS year, the Rathlin boys are doing a lot of the sounds. if any of your mates are going tell them to head over to the Living Room.

Mescaline and jungle?

I've started enquiries about volunteering at Glade, did it a few years back and it was epic (although slightly gutting if you are working when a favourite act is playing..)
 
Maybe not mescaline, it's rough on my body, I can't be doing mescaline without somewhere to throw up/sit and tremble, but yeah, trips and jungle suits me just fine. Boomtown here we go :D

i'm going for the amazing atmosphere/location/weather/people/drugs, I don't mind a bit of psytrance to dance to when i'm tripping but it's not really my cup 'o tea

i'll be dancing to squarepusher with my stealth headphones on most of the time :D

edit: boomtown looks fucking sweet as well
 
^ I remember you telling me about that :| shame.. otherwise Boomtown is clearly the best festival by miles IMO :D

Great festival to trip at.. as is Glade. Mescaline for me, acid for you, perfect.
 
Well, last year's festival was right after the riots, but there did seem to be a lot of criminality, I got robbed and the consensus seemed to be that it had happened to a lot of other people. In fairness, that'll teach me to mince around on acid with a gold necklace and no shirt :\
 
that is a shitter vader, I think these days every festival has its small minority people that turn up with the sole intention of robbing and trouble causing, hopefully they'll increase security this time round

can't have been the best experience for you while tripping.

It was actually pretty good, for a start I managed to convince him to give the ring back and just keep the chain, and then I realised that he had literally released me from bondage, torn away the superficial shackles in which I had chosen to contain myself. Cursed treasure, it was, and when it was rent from me I transcended gaudy status displays and became a more ascetic man. Most spiritually profound crime I've ever been a victim of.
