swapped my boom ticket for microdots as i can't make it due to work obligations, gutted :|

thinking of maybe boomtown since that's only a weekend... bit put off by all the talk of muggings though.. bad vibes.

was last year a one off or is it pretty rough every time?
 
Steady on now, I don't want to put anyone off, it's a great festival and I'm going again this year, just be aware that there's probably going to be more scallies around than there would be at a psytrance festival.

Scallies??!!! ... I thought only hippies attended psytrance fesitvals?

Do they have to swap their fake burbary caps for stick on for whispy beards at the gate to 'blend in'
 
Yeah, only hippies attend psytrance festivals. Boomtown is not a psytrance festival. It wouldn't make sense to talk about a psytrance festival with more scallies than you'd find at a psytrance festival, would it?
 
I'm going to nass festival this weekend and really looking forward to it, but I'm looking for tips with dealing with comedowns.. especially after the first night lol. Last year I went to the same festival and did a load of mandy and speed, felt like I didn't sleep a wink that night but tbh I probs did. I smoked about 4-5 grams of weed over the festival, but still felt shit the entire saturday. I'm taking an eigth of drone with me this time and I want to not fuck myself over this time, but I got no access to any vallies atm and it's too late to order any etizolam, any tips?? :D

3 Years was great, proper psytrance free party complete with many drugs and ALL good psytrance which was surprising. Every track I heard was banging and the atmosphere was great. Been at it since Thursday as it's been my birthday, completely wrecked now.

not a festival but gigs there thursday - saturday and tonight with MCD.ie running the show and these are the same people who ran Oxegen last few years.

my sis in law was at it for a few hrs and while she dosen't do drugs and drinks very little would know some things about drugs n gigs etc.

she was telling me she spotted alot of young lads 14 - 18 years old inside off there heads and seen about a dozen fights and 10 people getting medical attention.

Just got back from T in the park. Got caught by security handing a pill to my mate and they chased me through the campsite and tackled me into a tent. I ended up getting handed over to the police and they found two pills in my pocket. After they took my details I had my wristband cut off and my tickets ripped up before being ejected from the festival. Miraculously stumbled upon a ticket in the carpark, bought a wristband from someone leaving early for £5 and spent the next three hours in my mates car coming up from a defqon while melting the wristband back together. Managed to get in without a problem and bought more pills when I got back :D

Coullda been worse, your festival could have kettled out in then 4 hours in decided to close the festival down due to overcrowding with the coppers turfing everyone out on horses... ah Bloc.... still had a mint weekend in london went to a few afterpartys and bloc.
 
Anyone know what V festival (Weston) is like regarding searches/sniffer dogs/generally getting stuff in/hassle inside?

Going for the first time this year, and to be honest im only bothering with it so i can see the Roses again. :)

Hahaha!

I just posted that on Facebook saying that I was shocked it wasn't anyone I know. Within about 5 minutes I get a reply -

"***** did that one year. We were stood down the front waiting for Blur and he was swedged out his nut and decided to piss in a cup and drink it. These cunts stood next to us all thought it was funny as fuck and asked him if they all pissed in a cup would he drink that too. The cunt spanked the lot of it."
