Festivals 2012

I'm going Boom too. It's not just Psytrance there's quite a bit of techno as well. IIRC there's boom off on the other side of the lake which is a giant freeparty.

You coming to Boomtown this year? I can't believe I arranged to meet you then failed to turn up, I was pretty wrecked, really sorry..

Tempted by Glade but it's going to be Boomtown and Bangface for me this year I think :)
 
Boomtown is going to get smashed the absolute fuck out of. Dirty rotten filth. SGP is definitely a good festival, but it's getting very expensive and the crowd's changing, go this year before the transformation is complete. Quite fancy Beautiful Days too, and mates rave about Shambala...
 
I have mates who rave about Shambala too. Kinda tempted, but Boomtown will clearly piss all over any other festival (and I am skint) - apart from that it's just going to be freeparties for me I think..
 
A lot of people I know are planning on going to boomtown, but I had a look up at the lineup, not much I like, so I'd be going for the atmosphere rather than anything else. Any festivals to recommend that have a good vibe? As long as the music isn't electronic it won't end up making too much difference.

mate boomtown has an epic vibe. there is more than just electronic music, during the day at least!
it really is the epicentre of fun

The lineup does get ALOT longer than that and for atmosphere it is amazing.
 
If I did anything in Belgium it would be Thunderdome for sure <3

Really want to go to one abroad this year, not sure if I'll have the moneys sadly :(

Okami, the line up will indeed get a lot longer but I think Boomtown would most definitely be enjoyable for the atmosphere alone :D it's an amazing mixture of attention to detail and shambolic mayhem, my fave festie by far <3

Boomtown looks something else and looks relatively cheap as well considering how long you are there for.

I looked through the lineup and looked a lot of them up on youtube and found this. I'm so going to go to boomtown.
