I've just made the first step of my journey down to Sonisphere... a whole 10 minute train ride to my parents house. Still, underway sort of. :D

I'll be hanging around London for most of tomorrow, so thought I'd go out for dinner. Thought I'd try out a Strada near where I'm staying... it's a chain but hey, I don't want to spend a fortune. Interestingly they have one in Edinburgh but I've never been.

As chains go, they're a pretty safe bet. The pizzas are anyway, don't think I've ever had the pasta.

Never made Gnocchi in ages, I'll have to knock up a batch as its really tasty.

Apparently it's potato Gnocchi... not sure how much of a difference that makes. Never had the stuff before

If its done well its really nice, its just mashed potato mixed with floor and some herbs and then boiled - turns into little dumplings.

I bet your exited for the concert - I hope the weather stays nice and you have a brilliant time

Very excited... pretty much forgotten about any worries of going alone.

Forecast is a bit changeable... currently it's saying some showers at 16:00 but fine otherwise. I've decided just to take a backpack so I can easily keep some boots/waterproof in there & have space to store a Metallica t-shirt assuming there is one & there are any left on the merch stand. That's the very first thing I'm going to look for when I get in! :D

I went to Field Day this year alone, first time I've been to a fest alone and it was wicked. Cuts out all the crap of waiting around for people and having to go see shit you're not interested in just to stay part of the group. Plus you can easily hook up with people there for a bit and you're not bound to them for the whole time. It's the way forward - certainly beats trying to stay part of a big group anyway.

Ha. I was disappointed to see that she didn't take any of them to 'completion' and the resolution was too poor to see any of the diseased pre-cum coming out of those boys' floppers.
