[Feedback Thread] How can WE improve on the PD forum? Suggestions welcome!

Xor, I'm appreciative of the work of all PD mods (P&S mods are pretty rad too). It's clear that you guys work hard to maintain a friendly and welcoming environment, while keeping this place orderly for the exchange of information and ideas.

I haven't had the time nor the desire to follow the 6-APB thread too closely, so don't take it personally that I didn't notice your hard work.

Nah, I didn't... hence the winkey-face. It was impossible for anyone to follow that thread unless they were rabid with hype.

old posts and unansered old posts turn me right off. I feel like I wasted my time reading it. eh...I'm new so whatever.
 
Well then don't read old posts. ;) If you stick to the first couple of pages of threads, all the most recent posts in the thread will be recent. You'll only find old posts when you use the search engine and click on an old thread that it found.

From time to time we get new people who have used the search engine and find a very old thread and respond to a post from like 2001... and it's quite annoying. :) We usually close the thread if that happens unless it makes sense to keep it.

There are other forums for that ;). Also, is there some sort lowfi version of the forum? I think it could be useful for people to have access to a pure html, just simple text and minimal graphics for people with mobiles or crappy connections.

Beautiful post. I've never come across this guide. I watched the psychedelic crisis video and admittedly a tear came to my eye. It was a wonderful well done and thought video.
 
I wanted to make a thread about profound and hilarious things discovered or said on psychedellic trips but out of respect for my favorite forum, I figured I would ask for help wording it and making it look clean so hopefully it will catch on!

I don't know how to improve PD-forum if the Psychedelic Drugs Forum is meant by this, but i definitely think that an improvement on the whole website would be to split up the Other Drugs Forum into the particular drugs, since there are own forums for cannabis, steroids??? and so on but not for cocain, heroin, rc's, etc... In my opinion all drugs are somehow psychedelic since they all have some effect on one's psyche (of course not all such mind-blowing as LSD, but they all effect your mood and attitude to certain matters), so maybe shutdown this particular PD forum and release new forums for LSD/Psilocybin/Mescalin on the one hand and on the other hand also for Cocaine, for Opiates, for Designer Drugs (RC's), and so on?
 
^Other drugs used prefixes like (opiates), (benzo's) etc. which certainly helps with finding stuff.

I think doing a similar thing to PD would result in confusion; the difference between various substances is often only semantic, and I can only imagine the squablling that would ensue if we attempted to delineate between them all in a finite way.
