I live in ohio where we already have these "draconian" laws and judges throw that shit out like it's their job. it sucks that people have to get arrested and go to court, maybe pay for a lawyer, but the current precedent is drug tests do not cut it; toxicology report detecting active chemicals or no conviction.

it kind of sounds like obama is moving the written law in the wrong direction concerning this stupid inactive metabolite law, but who can be sure given this poor excuse for journalism.
also, if you were really sober, you would have to work hard to get a cop to bring you back to the police station to do blood work.
not saying this isn't shitty. police can abuse this, and they do. when pulled over, i was told that i would be brought back to the station and tested if i did not cooperate. It was implied that i would test positive whether high or not. i still did not cooperate, so they said it did not matter because they smelled pot and did not need my permission to search as they now had probable cause. crazy how all the sudden you can smell like drugs. oh, police men. But it is alright, i was just giving them a hard time. there was nothing in my car i did not want them to see, and they could not fucking believe it. Why wouldn't i let them search if i did not have anything to hide? because i dislike you motherfuckers and ill never give you an inch.
I better go ahead and shoot an e-mail over to Obama about all this.
