Docs, horror, movies about animals, cult films.![]()
All the Mob movies whatever one categorizes as.
I just finished watching the series: Boardwalk Empire only recently because I hadn’t known it was directed by Martin Scorsese. I thought it was a good gangster/mafia series.best one is good fellas imo. casino also great. once upon a time in america, epic. the goodfather goes without saying. but the last mob movie by martin scorsese wasnt that great also over 3 hours but not too good.

Not really a genre, but movies like Lost Highway, Funny Games and Eyes Wide Shut. Mysterious and creepy films that are unsettling and have some philosophical depth to them.
That's the genre I think: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psychological_thriller"Suspense"
Funny Games
Ulrich Seidl's movies are just nasty and gross. I wouldn't even compare him to Haneke. The Austrians make some strange movies, namely Michael haneke and Ulrich seidl. Seidl has a more perverse style while haneke (funny games) is more Lynch in style.

Midnight mass? Really goodSci-fi for sure! & then Horror...Not gory, but SPOOKY... stuff like the conjuring, exorcist, the ring, insideous, sinister, prometheus, the thing, Us...etcthere was a series on netflix that was quite good, a bit of a slow burn, about an island & the preacher was a vampire & he brought over the "creature" that Turned him. ;-)
