Dead Man had a decent soundtrack composed by Neil Young ... far-out stuff.

I just love the Cliff Martinez works. Especially Drive and Only Good Forgives.

The Clint Mansell original score for Requiem for a Dream is also amazing.

Now, two oldies. First Wendy Carlos' A Clockwork Orange.

And finally the soundtrack of this marvel and unknown little gem from Robert Altman called Images from 1972, a very realistic film that shows mental illness and schizophrenia in a very realistic way. The music was made by John Williams and the japanese percussionist, keyboardist and composer Stomu Yamashita. It sounds totally unique, at least to me.

Naked Lunch Soundtrack - Howard Shore - Ornette Coleman - The London Philharmonic Orchestra

The theme from Requiem for a Dream is very impressive. It could make ANYTHING seem extremely dramatic.

I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack.

Juno has a pretty good one, too.

Dude... yes. Just YES! Loved Wendy Carlos' synthesizer tracks in A Clockwork Orange. And I just got around to watching Images last week and LOVED the soundtrack by John Williams. And of course, who doesn't love the Drive soundtrack?

A couple notable soundtracks that pop into my head right now are "The Five Heartbeats" and "Get Shorty". Another I just remembered is "The Commitments", an excellent movie especially if you like old R and B.

It is crazy good. Painfully so. It is not personal (was never addicted to this degree), but music and movie is so, so, so painfully tragic.

My favourite is "American Honey". This is maybe my favourite movie of all times.

And it is not accidental. Director Arnold made three movies and ALL of them are just exceptionally good. Just 20 points out of 10 level good.

A few days ago I watch the remake of Maniac (Franck Khalfoun, 2012) with Elijah Wood. Not only is the movie SPECTACULAR (one of the best remakes I've seen), but the soundtrack is fucking amazing.
