anyone who has talked to me today or saw me last night would prolly know why the fuck i am listening to this cd at 2:20am...but the chicks vocals in Svefn-g-englar on Sigur Rós' Ágætis Byrjun (or 'track 2 on the iceland dudes cd' as it is more commonly known)
i don't know what she's saying...i've read a rough translation once, and its really not that interesting, but the reason i love it is cos you really don't need to know what shes saying, the entire emotion and inspiration of the song is transmitted through those vocals, and not through the words, but how they are delivered....
...or maybe i'm fucked
