read back on my posts, said givens could easily just be a 50rec 700yd 4td guy

patrick peterson was blanketing him all game and bradford suddenly has 4 legit weapons, attacked the mismatches
having cook and austin on the field will always equate to mismatches

can't wait till they beat the niners again

got him late in all 3 of my drafts so pretty happy about that. thankfully that fumble where he should have got a TD isnt gonna hurt me because Peyton Manning.
 
I got fucked by cowboys defence and demerius Thomas both scoring in the 20s. Oh well I still like my team just need better production out of my tight end and running backs. I mean marshawn lynch only having 2 points is crazy.

although BL'ers said he was way overpaid, which i can see, all of the nfl world thought that, but i was cool with it since fisher drafted him and knew something most people didn't and had a plan

les snead(real name is sam snead) is going to be one of the only GMs that's commonly known, guys been clutch, since day one, was hired shortly after fish

listenened to my man over at NFL network dave dameshek's podcast today, was recorded prior to week one, he's got falcons over STL in nfc championship, i can't even fap to that
 
i fucking hate the impact fantasy football has had on usa

gone are the days of nfl small talk about what's going on around the league, with personal favorite teams/players

all anyone wants to talk about is their fantasy team
yeah i play, but i don't really talk about it other than with my father, we aren't in a league together, but i try to take interest in his players, just for his 'main' league that i used to help him draft when i was a teenage NFL know it all, and shit we need something to talk about

i find fantasy has increased the quantity and quality of discussion on teams and players. my fantasy team line-up may be virtual but every other aspect is perfectly 'real'.

I agree, there are way more stat junkies now than there were 15 years ago.
 
I honestly hate the whole concept of fantasy sports, not just the NFL. Never have, and never will join a fantasy sports league. I only care about the real game.

with shane vereen and danny amendola out, a lot of my choices are made for me this week. i had edelman last night and was crushed to see brady overthrow him on that > 40yard pass early on...

i have the dallas defense who looked great in week 1 and the seattle defense who are just studs. which to start? i think it's seattle, right?

In one of my leagues vereen is my RB2 (16 team league). Im so mad about it.... I literally have no options other than him and he looked like he was about to explode if he didnt get injured.

i picked him up as a free agent before my week one game against our loudmouth commissioner (who started stevan ridley) and he was instrumental in my > 60 point winning margin. really sad to see him injured, both as his manager and a pats fan...

which running backs are available to you?

I got Jackie Battle off waivers, everyone else is a 3rd stringer you've never heard of at best.
 
what about redman? surely nobody has him or you could trade?

it definitely looks a little grim, especially as they're playing baltimore this week but he's the starter, with something to prove...

this is a 16 man league, the waiver wire is really thin

Da'rell Scott from the giants is the highest scoring RB on waivers with 7 week 1 points

I just picked up Donald Brown, hopefully Bradshaw doesnt produce and he can fill in for me otherwise im stuck with Battle or whoever else I can find until vereen comes back. It sucks, I scored 145 points in week 1 but now my team seems crippled without vereen.
