here's a short note from ez test HQ. We have been going thru some changes lately and are doing fine. Since there have been a couple of postings of people wanting to know how we were i thought I'd answer.
if there are any questions about shipments, please let us know before you start to post on this board. we will be happy to answer your questions... [email protected]
 
I have emailed you 4 times in total and still havent received my ez test xtreme. The last email i sent has received no reply so what else can i do other than ask questions on this forum as to what is going on.
Get your act together and send me what i have paid for instead of posting on this forum and saying everything is ok, cos it isnt ok. If you cant supply the goods recredit my credit card and i will go elsewhere.
Like other posters who are having similar problems i am pretty pissed off over the whole thing and if i dont receive either the kit or a refund soon i will be reporting you for credit card fraud.
I think a 3 month wait for a product and still no sign of it is totally ridiculous.
 
ananda : read the other thread. Plenty of info for you in there, including one saying 'give us your email address and we'll contact you', and saying there had been some long delays in Australia (where your profile says you are from). Post up your email address, or put it up in your profile at least and I'm sure some form of communication will take place.
Thanks for ignoring my comments in the other thread, its appreciated that efforts to keep the board on topic and relevent for everyone are happily dashed by people such as yourself. However, seeing EZ-Test bought it upon themselves to post up something like this, darn'd if I'm letting this go without a right of reply from yourself.

I've been into/doing this for apx. 4 years and I really need a change....
We recently decided to shift customer service and order related stuff to Michael and Ewoud.
For this reason, we are re-organising some things here and there, including mail....
Mail went completely wrong, I just found 200 emails (excluding 600 spam mails) on our other account.
Pls. forgive me. It is almost sorted and Ewoud and Michael will provide proper service (again).

I have never received or seen any other replies to my queries as far as i know unless it is posted in another forum topic.
I have no intention of publicly giving my email address in any public forum and you shouldnt expect me to. Eztest.com have my email address and order no. etc so i dont see the relevance.
If you read AJ's post following yours you will see that he admits it is his fault and i accept this as an honest mistake. So next time before you decide to publicly flame someone you better actually check on the facts. You may also want to explain why you are saying my message was not on topic. The topic was about eztest.com having shipping problems which is exactly the basis of my post. No product and no response to my emails.

Just a quick note of support for E-Z test kits being purchased over the net. I purchased and recieved my kit within 3 weeks, the kit wass ent from Holland and came to Australia without any dramas, after 2 weeks I sent an email to find out where it was, I got a reply within 24hours confirming all was OK.....so I believe them that ALL IS OK........
 
FYI Personal Messaging is not used at Bluelight.
It seems that EzTest have their email problems sorted out, and they have your order number from here, so hopefully they will be able to sort it all out. If not I'm sure they would be happy to contact you in this thread to ask for more details.
As for displaying your email address, probably 95% of all people on this board use anonymous web email accounts, such as Hotmail, Ziplip, Hushmail etc, which give no indication of your real name or email address. Set one up if you havent already got one, in fact set up several. If it is too much trouble for you to check webmail you can always use a remailer service such as Bigfoot, where you can setup an anonymous address that will forward all mail to your home account. And then put this totally anonymous address in your profile, so that Moderators, if they have a problem, can take it up with you offline and we can avoid all this needless drama.
This forum is designed for people to discuss testing kits. It is NOT supposed to be a place where disputes such as this can be aired. This goes for both customers and the companies themselves. We are here to facilitate communication on general issues, not specific complaints.
This has come up before with other companies, and the bottom line is that those companies should at all times keep their customers informed as to what is going on. Nothing annoys a customer more than not hearing anything. This forum can, and should, be used for companies to tell their customers, in general terms, the state of their affairs. Even if they are repeating themselves an effort should be made to let the customers know what is going on.
Specific complaints, however, should be dealt with by the companies themselves, hopefully in private email.
Can I ask that from now on both companies and customers follow these suggestions?

So your question isn't like http://www.bluelight.ru/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic&f=14&t=001053 . One person's complaint is bandied about,the topic is finally, painfully closed, and then you come in with gun's blazing opening another one.
I said that there were answers in another thread. It doesn't take much to click open something that has almost exactly the same subject line.
I have a responsibilty to everyone to keep the forum on track, relevent and on topic. I don't go around wontenly closing threads, writing explainations etc, because I enjoy taking time of porn/counter-strike/girlfriend/food/booze/fresh air to do so. Again all of this would of been heaps easier without tears if an email address was supplied, UBB has a mechanism to protect it from spam email harvesting programs, and there was nothing at all to keep you from emailing ME and asking questions.
 
I know that this is not the place for private messages but when a company which sells test kits simply ignores TEN emails that a customer sends then this forum is a good place to post the information that there might be a problem with that particular company. It worked for me. After my emails being ignored for three months within a week of posting here I got an email from the company in question. I'm still waiting for the kits that I paid for back in October but at least there is some progress. If I had not been able to post here and make a complaint about the company in question and get an answer that way I most certainly would have reported that company for credit card fraud (card billed, goods not received, no proof of posting supplied, emails ignored... sounds like fraud to me but turns out it was just a good old fashioned shipping and email accounts fuck-up!). So it was good for me and the company.
This forum is about pill testing and the companies which sell pill testers are part of that subject aren't they?

harry: i know what happened, i'm trying to set up protocol for the future and part of that is trying to make sure that companies take care of their customers themselves and not leave it up to us to sort it out.
i think we'd all rather that companies simply had their shit together and none of this would happen again, ey?

Ananda - pretty tough words for a $25 issue, for people who have been working diligently to save your life for a long time.
I guess this is a good lesson for all of us......threats seem like a good way to get things done sometimes, but the only people who respond to threats are bullies themselves.
The folks at EZ Test are good people, doing good work. Lets give them the thanks they deserve and the respect they've earned.
I truly believe in making assumptions about people based on past behaviours.......and I'll assume now and forever that anyone associated with the workings of bluelight or EZ Test aren't out to screw anyone, because they've demonstrated their character by doing so much for making pilltaking a safer thing to do.....
The way they do it is through some really hard work......maintaining this site, and the boards and pilltests.com is not easy, and not something that they do in their spare time.
I, for one, and I know I'm not alone, am grateful.
AJ, Ewoud, Michael, anyone I've missed - Thanks for the information you make available, thanks for the access to testing kits that you empower us with, and sorry that some people can't seem to see the forest for the trees.
Keep up the good (and mostly uncelebrated) work.

Well Voodoo for your information the amount of money involved is over $60 AUS which is quite a lot of money.
It is now another 3 weeks since my last post in here which i thought was going to solve the problem seeing i did get a response in this topic from eztest.com.
However true to form so far in this ordeal i have not received the product or even an email saying we are sorry and it is being fixed.
I have posted the order no. here so that they could attend it but it now seems futile. Come on guys at eztest.com get your act together, this is ridiculous.

So what you are basically saying Voodoo is that it is ok to take peoples money without providing the goods ordered, and that i should just wear it and shutup like the other the sheep of the world who get shafted all the time.
You dont seem to realise that there is no other option for me other than posting here, as all my emails are ignored.
And yes it unfortunately seems that threats are the only way of getting anywhere in cases like this, as Harry who posted above will testify (he had the same problems i am having with eztest.com).
Ok so you had no problems with eztest.com, good for you and i am happy to hear that, but that is not my experience and i have every right to tell my story just as you have with yours.
