Extracting psilocybin from rotten fungus

So basically I have mushrooms; I have my own grown mushrooms (which is still a legal practise in the netherlands) and got me beautiful nicely sized decently tasting properly dried mushrooms which I'm very happy with. However I am also in posession of slightly rotten 'truffles', the underground growing mushrooms that are still legally sold here. I got these because I worked at a smartshop and they were left over, couldn't sell them anymore but weren't that rotten that we'd throw them away, only truffles when fresh already taste horrible let alone when they are slightly rotten ánd have been in a freezer for a few months. They're too rotten to be food right now. (compared to my own grown stash it's like comparing eating a bitterish sandwich to eating a spoonful of random RC's, fungus and biological waste).

Does anyone have any idea how I could get as much of the rotten fungus material off without breaking down the psilocin or should I just throw them away and stick to my nice shrooms? I have around 40 grams of semi fresh rotten mushrooms which would be 3-4 doses for a person my weight and sensitivity so it would be a shame to just throw them out. Any suggestions to how I can remove rotten mushroom and still keep it working?

One of the principal reasons that you don't want to eat rotting food is because of the poisonous natural products that the bacteria and fungi produce. You would be extracting those as well, so an extraction would be pointless.

you wouldn't want to do a quick polar extraction w/water,
but a/b should be fine (if a waste of time for 3-4 doses...)

There are lots of natural products with acidic and/or basic functional groups. For example, psilocybin :P

i wouldnt eat them or any pieces of them, id throw em out you can always get more fresher ones. its to big of a gamble imo, alot of poisonous bacteria is so small you most likely wont be able to see all of it, of course you could do your best visually but stuff like that from what i gather is so small your not going to be able to seperate it completely imo

Hm I guess I'll have to throw them out then. I was considering that, especially since I have plenty of good non-rotten mushrooms anyway, but I figured if there would've been an easy way to extract the fleshy rotten bits off that I would've done that. Guess not though, or atleast not easily enough for me to do it.. I don't think they're dangerously rotten yet though, they are sealed in plastic and were only between 0 and 5 days past their date when I froze them but they'll be so gross by now that eating them will just be not worth it in this state, I doubt very much that they'd get anyone sick though.. but yeah I guess it's probably not worth the risk, especially not for 3-4 doses and I guess if I do finally run out of shrooms it's a better idea to get a new grow kit then to try and extract rotten fungus :)
