I'm just messing with you, this is not about synthesis I just need the mods attention for a particular question. That comes in the end though, keep reading. To ask this question I need to set up an example. So, say we had a couple of tablets containing 50 mg opiate and 4mg naloxone. Let's assume they both degrade at the same rate (the naloxone and the opiate). Would it be possible to crush up and heat this tablet at the temperature and for the amount of time it takes for 4mg naloxone to degrade, whilst leaving 46 mg opiate intact?
If this were so the tablet could be injected (micron filtered and all of course). I know there are a few flaws. One being that the opiate may evaporate. Though at low temp for a long enough time I think most could be preserved (from evaporation). Also, remember this is under perfect conditions. Please tell me I this is possible or if you detect any flaws and how YOU think this could be done practically. If any part of the question was hard to understand please say so, I will re-explain.
