There is no Codeine in Tramadol.
Tramadol is an opioid drug, as is Codeine - but they are both different drugs.

You're not going to trip off Codeine/Tramadol either, at least not in the traditional sense, though the "nodding" dream state can be a trip of its own in some ways, they aren't what you'd refer to as a hallucinogen normally.
Codeine and Tramadol are not hallucinogens and therefore do not belong in the Psychedelic Drugs forum. They fall under Other Drugs, which also covers all other opioids.
If you get your hands on some over the counter medicine which contains Codeine and NOT Tramadol (they are two different things as I said, one does not contain the other) then you can perform a cold water extraction. Here's a simple guide on how to do so:

If you're a little confused, and you weren't aware that they were different drugs, it's not to worry, in most countries Codeine is available over the counter without a prescription, so even if you only have Tramadol now, but want to get your hands on Codeine, you probably can fairly easily.
If you wish to discuss opioids more, depending on the depth of your question you should either go to
Basic Drug Discussion or
Other Drugs.
Hope this helps.
