The secret ingredient is consistency.
I know someone personally who is an international level gymnast. Basically all muscle and no fat, very strong obviously. No substances or shakes, and their diet isn't really anything remarkable.. they do love a tub of Ben and Jerry's! Just two decades or so of consistently doing gymnastics.
