Positive Exercise 4 Health, Mental Health and Addiction vs. Pure & Free

Had a great session yesterday. PR on trapbar deadlift, followed by Split squats (glutes are so fucking sore!), calf raises, prone leg curl, leg extensions, machine crunches, and bodyweight back extensions. Very DOMSy today but feeling good.

Trapbar DL has rapidly become a favourite for me. I'm tall and conventional deads gave me much more lumbar strain than I feel comfortable with. TBDL seems to work way better. Still feel it in lower back but just shifting the lever back slightly allows me much greater comfort. And can lift way heavier too.

Chest, back and arms yesterday. Really love the plate loaded Chest press at my gym, perfect range of motion and the angle is ideal. One of the few Chest machines that doesn't feel awkward for me.

Legs and biceps are up today.. hitting it early. I think im going to be in the gym like six days a week now!

Yep, independent arms. Seat is slightly annoying to adjust cos I'm tall but I actually prefer this to bench atm. I'm doing high volume training so any time I can shave off my workouts is great.

Welcome to steroids 😂. If you keep training then you’ll just get stronger and stronger every workout they really work.


I thought I would put these photos here as somebody might get some inspiration from them. First photo is me at a couple of weeks clean in the middle of November some time. Second photo was taken today, they’re less than six months apart. I didn’t take any PEDs to do this, I just ate a lot and the only supplements I used were protein powder and creatine.

Nice. Get ready for gainz my friend. 😎 It seems to just compress the standard 72hr DOMS into a day. Although that has probably lead to some joint and connective tissue pain...

Tonight, we did trapbar deads, leg press, hack squat, glute machine (basically hip thrusters), back extensions, calves and leg curls. Probably too much volume, but the hack squat was new so had to give it a ride. I've been leg pressing twice a week, will replace one of those sessions with hacks. So close to vomiting. But feeling amazing now 💪

That’s a killer leg day you’re doing, brutal. I just PRd every exercise I did on my leg day today, was crazy. I just started adding in hack squats, barbell squats and deadlifts to my weekly routine and it seems to be paying dividends already.
