Exercise 4 Health, Mental Health, and Addiction vs. I worked all that out

I didn't have that great of a workout today. I started doing weighted pullups and weighted chin-ups with a weight belt again (instead of cable pulldowns with narrow and wide-grip), and those just work the shoulders a lot more it seems! So I did that all yesterday, and then tried to do shoulders alone today (I usually do shoulders the day after back with little issue), but my shoulders were just not as strong as usual. And I had a ton of CNS fatigue. And I went in on very low carbs today, as I pigged out yesterday while out with my co-worker and needed to do a bit of carb-cycling to not feel as guilty. And I'm running on little sleep today.

Tomorrow morning is legs. Hopefully I'll be well-rested by then and can crush it.

^its cool brother I don't think I had the best workout today either because I didn't do cardio and I blame my work for it lol. So first thing tomorrow will be cardio exercise and full body workout oncw more.

I need to start exercising again. I haven't exercised in WEEKS and keep eating chocolate. I feel fat n frumpy n I should know better doing a MSc in Weight Management but I really need to get back exercising again. Think I may purchase Focus 25 n get going. I've done INSANITY but I don't want to do that again, I've lost motivation and I'm not sure how to get it back xxxx

Wow - red did I read that right? Weighted pull/chin ups? I find them extremely difficult to do on their own - you must be very strong. Well done, you.

Im sore today but im gonna push myself to go to the gym after lunch. How's that for dedication? ;)

I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning...I just ordered the Insanity program. I'm stoked! I have to balance out all of the gentle yoga and meditation with some intensity. Most of my life (not including my work life--that is always hectic) in general is gentle and calm. Time to get raw and ripped. My yoga body is going to morph into something else entirely. YES!!

some of you are doing the Insanity workout, right? What am I getting myself into? ;)

I was absolutely enraged at the gym today. Some drama at the end of my workday and then some unfortunate news, and I went into the gym with that feeling of NEEDING a great workout or else I'd want to give up at life. First set was all weak and shaky trying to just hit the same number as last time. But then I kicked it into gear and powered through chest and triceps, gaining in either weight or reps on all but one exercise. I felt extremely "primal" after that workout.

Alright I have come up with a nice set of exercises to broaden my back and shoulder workout.. so off to the gym to get it all dialed in and implemented.. I have a funny feeling im going to be pretty sore tomorrow.. also im going to ramp back up my cardio as I have been going really light because of what ever was sore in my leg.. but I lifted legs finally yesterday and it feels even better today than yesterday so maybe a little biking is in order.. I fuckin hate biking though for some reason..

Did it a few years back and was the only workout that helped me get to UK size 8. Plus the endorphin rush was amazing.
And Shaun T is fit :)
It's very cardio based and my advice would be to wear a heart rate monitor when working out especially during the warm up.
My favourite work out was pure cardio.

bear crawls and body weight squats
lol like 1 good set of each, but it's something to build on.

Rest day today but ill power it out tomorrow as usual. I feel like I didn't do much cardio yesterday so that will be my focus tomorrow and full body workout ofc

Started Insanity today.

For the love of everything holy. I haven't been worked like that in the span of 40 minutes ever. Ever. And I do hot yoga for 90 minutes a day, throughout the week.

If you're slackin a bit, or bored of your workout, I recommend it. All the hype is true. I'm going to put a hold on the yoga for the duration of the Insanity 60 day challenge, then slowly work it back into my routine.

I did cardio and nike exercise training with my coworker today. I'm so excited about our new gym which will be opened next week! There's classes available for yoga, pilates aerobics etc and a sauna woot woot!

^^That's awesome, Maya! It will be so fun to be in a sparkling new facility I'm sure. What kind of yoga do you practice? I am trained as Vinyasa Yoga teacher, but I practice a lot of bikram yoga these days myself.

Day 2 of Insanity. Every.Thing.Hurts.

^My son and his exercise fanatic girlfriend did the Insanity program for about 5 weeks then declared it...you guessed it...insane.=D

1 light set of body weight squats, bear crawls, shoulder press, arm circles, bicep curls
