I am wondering if anyone has ever successfully kept their job after calling out sick for 3-6 days in order to detox, and what a good health problem is good to use that won't be questioned too much. I do suffer from endometriousis (even though I can't spell it), and kidney stones / a constant battle with uti's. I think these have a lot to do with the drug abuse. I am considering just straight out quitting my job so I can get clean. I also need to pass a drug test to get a new job, and hate my current one as well as my dependency situation. I want to get clean once and for all and plan on following up with an outpatient rehab program. But if possible I still want to attempt to keep my current job until I find a new one. My current job actually is part of a union and I believe I still have quite a few sick days left. I just want a good excuse since I called in today, have two days off, and am considering jumping on the wagon after tomorrow when I run out. I'm honestly not all that worried about losing this because I hate it and am temporarily living with my mother until I can get clean. I relapsed recently which is why I need to go through this again, and if my mother finds out what I am doing she will kick me out. So I also need a good excuse for her as to why I am sick again... She is very naive so she won't know it's withdrawal again. Any advice would be appreciated. I recently posted about hiding synthetic urine, but I would have to stop using in order to afford it anyways. Thank you.
