Ha! Yes, the OD in the loo definitely is the artist formerly known as "The Nose". Excellent. He's actually cleaned up to a degree himself now and is the VP of a "bank" in the Far East! Truth, as you suggest, can be stranger than fiction. I don't know if you read the book that the girl he was arrested with wrote, but that has some incredible stuff in it. She obviously didn't have a lot of good things to say about him, with an accurate description ("his enormous nose and risible haircut") being amongst the kindest. You probably knew his namesake as well "The Yob", from Cambridge. I heard only recently that he took his own life after his doctor stopped the morphine prescription he'd had for years. Tragic: poor guy. Anyway... I'm way off topic.

Sounds about right to me too. Was definitely getting some ree-dick-you-less-lee good gear around that time. Decent prices too - £120/3.5g where I was - cheaper if you knew the bloke well enough and he wasn't too deep in hock to the crackman. Went to shit after that and never seemed to get much better. Aside from a few batches here and there that put you right on yer arse. But mostly shite-okay quality for the next few years. Almost never actually good. Is partly why I got much more into the rock around then probably. Then the rock went to shit. Then I knocked it on the head. At least on a full-time basis. Feel sorry for some of the folks here doing 0.5g or more to get owt off it. That's fukkin nuts. Sounds worse than when I was last using regular and that was bad enough

With you all on the late 90's, my lips used to go blue after a hit, and that was off 1 bag and we got 3 for £15 ahhh fuckin sweet...them was the days!!

I have to agree with the quality of the crack being top notch in the late 90's.
I remember one day when we scored my mate drove us to the top of a multi storey carpark so we could all enjoy a nice pipe each.
One of my mates took in a big lungfull and the next minute he was throwing his guts up out of the car door due to the strength of the rocks.
I used to enjoy smoking it but it always made me go very quiet and I just didn't want to talk to anyone.
Once I had the first hit off the pipe I just couldn't stop until my rocks had gone and I had cleaned out the residue from the pipe and smoked that as well.
Good thing that I can no longer have access to it.

when i use to get rather big chunks of coke that was off the block - proper mother of pearl gear i use to bang up .05 and the bells would ring and the treble was up to 11 and sweat like a MF. Use tro make a packet and had it layed on 2 weeks at a time until i endd up owing the man money with my over indulgence. The last good W i was getting regularly was probably about 2005 ish but then i stopped smoking it un til thelast couple of years and thats only once in a blue moon.

Fella who first introduced me properly to opiworld nearly died in my arms after shooting £20 worth of that nice late-90s gear when it first arrived. He was oldskool and used to #4 Asian white stuff (Hong Kong and Thai specifically as he lived in and around there for a while) had adapted to shitey UK brown then got ahead of himself when the lush stuff arrived. Needless to say that once I'd established he wasn't actually gonna die but just turn blue/grey and wheeze and bubble a bit I followed suit cos I was clucking. Came round to find myself in his arms being slapped back into consciousness. Instant karma. Then we went out on the piss. Gotta

But being banged up for a few years changed him and the scene outside chnaged and so did I so it was never the same after that. Last I recall he moved away but within the UK. Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if he was back out in the Far Easy shooting scag and shagging ladyboys now though. Was kinda his thing really. Only man I know who could've ever gotten away with introducing himself to the prison population by telling all in earshot of his fave sexual experience - being "the meat" in a ladyboy sandwich. Oh yeah. He did just that. And not only lived to tell the tale but flourished as a result. Wannabe wankstas should take note of how to make an entrance in true style :D%)

You'd know far better than I, Ponti. This would've been early 90s or thereabouts when he was off on his jollies. Think he was mainly Hong Kong based and he did say it was a pretty shady scene you had to really know people to not be ripped/robbed/killed before you could score properly in. Seems to be pretty standard to potter about the place when in that part of the world though and I know he did plenty of that too. Had some stories on him anyway :D
Was the impression I got for sure. Seemed his entire existence - and that of most ex-pats he mentioned - consisted entirely of hard drugs, heavy drinking, ladyboys, hard drugs, prostitutes, heavy drinking, ladyboys, hard drugs, heavy drinking, ladyboys, and occasional bar work. Still got the t-shirt from some HK bar he gave me. I can live the dream vicariously 
Fizz-popz have finally ended (I think) thank fuck, Ponti. Never again. And I mean it this time. Once was testing the waters. Twice was more than I'll ever need to be absolutely sure of how shite daily tram use is. Never again. But does feel extra specially good to be off the crap now I must admit :D

Ah ok quite a bit longer than I thought, it is too tempting when you can just walk into any pharmacy and buy them though. What's the shortest period you've got withdrawals from?

Hey Comrades. Its the Spun. Wanted to update my friends on this thread. So I have been smoking gear sporadically but more consistantly lately. I was clean off dope (but not EtOH) for 2 weeks after the early Jan relapse and peak up to Jan 19th I think. Well chipped alittle but then the last week I used 2 days, went 2 days, used 3 days, went 2 days, started to get mild WDs managed by bup. For someone that gets strung out fast my symptoms were low grade. Well gave in tonight. Got brown mex powder, intermediate quality by our standards. On sat got a hard v chunck of tar of good quality- after getting raped by my middle man it actually lasted 3 days with long periods of innability to keep eyes open. Work brike up last 2 days. Felt mild WDs 36 hrs out, bup, then more tonight.
My friend hooked me up with 50 mg of methadone pills- so thats my safety net, sick of this shit.
But rehab out of question- gotta work. So I was gonna ask for advice, but I don't know- well see how I am tommorow. My connecy was ok at first but been getting inevitable diminishing returns. He was selling meth but I think he used more then he sold, now he's always broke.
thats a horrible drug- I used it on this relapse several times- but its hazardous quite euphoric but hazardous and it turns people scandolous- can't see why its more acceptable in Aus than gear.
So anyway, trying to stop this before it gets worse, but the high from gear- the homecoming feeling that snags you... well my connect thats really a middleman- he is giving me less and less for my $- way overpriced- practically paying Hawaii prices- but quality is usally unstanding- clear black/ grey trail, floral taste, strong high (but remeber still somewhat of a chipper). But I know the taste of good dope.
Now after the kick down he gets when I score he wants me to help him move stuff to storage- he peranoid to go out. Lives downtown and has warrants and alot of the cops know he aledgedly- by the way I live 45 minutes from his house- i feel bad for the dude but thats beyond rediculous and i told him. There are whole districts of abandoned buildings... enough open space to occupy San Francisco. Ask yourselves, what state has the biggest gear per capita. Answer to follow (suprizing). Hawaii has the biggest meth scene (no suprise). Small dope scene- tar from mex. The price is $40-$60 gram on the mainland. In Hawaii its about $240/ gram for gear. In detroit heroin is called Blow, the police are rare because of low tax base so drug dealers and the US border patrol are involved in law enforcement. With all the abandoned areas the border patrol patrols large parts of the shore line. Canada is across the detroit river. Apparently there is some tar, mostly colombian dope, but also as a rarity alot of SE Asian gear (probably crossing over from Canada.)
New Orleans has thrived as a drug destination after the Katrina. When people left alot of them made good connections in places like Huston as refugees. Coke, Cannabis and to a lesser extent heroin are the big drugs. White squatters called gutter punks moved there a few months after. Still places to squat. More independent dealers- better quality. One gutter punk related that after Katrina there were pill bottles of Rx drugs in the streets and medicine cabinets of abadoned buildings. They would take adderal, other amphetamines to make "amphetamine fudge" to work to steal copper from condemed buildings to buy coke.

I'll leave out Montana and Las Vegas I missed. They had an episode from last year on crack- was cool to see how coke is made in the jungles and highlands of Peru.
And the last thing I wanted to mention- the last and only international episode. They start out with the high end partying. Discuss areas like the square mile/city of London, east end, west end, and Camden (which they intimate is a happening part of London. I took 0.2mg of subutex at around midnight last night, I am planning on making it my last dose, after a week or two of rapid tapering. Got 7g of mam-2201 blend,10 xanax,10 blues and 10 k-pins. L-theannine, 5-HTP, Lopermide and multivitamins.
Let's do this damn thing!!!
Social services were round this week...snoopy bitches! Well i'm gonna drug free by the time my kid comes so FUCK YOU!
And we just put a 250k offer on a flat...exciting times!
