Which Dublin are you talking about? Dublin in the USA? Coz you it can't mean Dublin Ireland. I live in North Dublin about 10mins walk from Dublin city centre and the heroin in Dublin has been sub-standard for the last two years. Most heroin users are sticking with their methadone in Ireland coz the gear is so weak.
But the Dublin you are talking about "has one of the largest open air h markets in western Europe" so I guess its not Dublin Ireland that you are talking about. There is plenty of gear around Dublin, buckets of the stuff! But anyone who knows anything about gear knows that the gear scene is dead in Dublin coz the gear is all low grade since the drought in Nov 2010. Hopefully things will improve some day, but for now the gear at best is only half the strength that it should be.

Hi Maxalfie, I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I've been chatting to you for so long here on Bluelight yet I never know you were widowed, sorry mate. You are not selfish for using gear the day of you wife's funeral, you had to use otherwise you'd have gone into withdrawal & you would have never got through the day. Most people drink alchol before a funeral, just coz your choice of drug is different doesn't make it wrong. You did what you had to do.....

i got 6 bags before xmas off 3 different dealers four were bash with low h purity two were just ok.
The gear i was getting off a chap back in 2008 pisses all over today gear. I am occasionally dabbling dont have ur tolerance am notvon phy.todays was mb half as good as predrought gear. It gavecme a goof and lovely stone compared to the 6 bags i got before christmas

^Ya but an open air market, I know where you are on about in the city centre but from the looks of Dublin all I would expect would be a few duff vals.
Yep acieed-ed the gear in Dublin has improved in the last six months, but its still not as good as what I was getting before the drought.

Also I find the worst gear in Dublin is the gear that you score on the street in town, your better off getting to know a dealer who has decent gear. I've spent the last two years since the drought shopping around to find the best gear.
I used to use heroin daily until the drought hit, now I stick to my methadone most of the time. I only score about 4 times in every two weeks. I'm just waiting for things to go back to the way that they were.......

^I can't think of a street with a starbucks to score on either, you might be seeing stars buck if it all went wrong though.
I scored my tac near ****** street starbucks 5/6 min walk away. I admit it was a fluke i bumped into a character selling it who i knew fron going to trinity court years ago.
I never take numbers from them.i could re hookup with my pre drought dynamite hookup with a facebook msg or txt to his bro.i dont want to get strungout again cos back then that powerfull gear was too fucking nice.i brought homeless addicts fron my hostel to him and they admitted it was the best gear they had.it was an ex prisoners hookup not the dirt that was being sold around the quays
if i get gear that strong again i will be pawning my xbox ipod etc again its sooo addictive

aVanWeyden I need to make the posts quick. As for solid heroin, the stuff I have right now is hard rock tar as a matter of fact. Actually smokes prety good. Its usally softer tar like taffe thats better but you cant tell, have gotten fire tar with the consitancy of rock candy before, though this is prety good, not total fire. Runctions, I used to live 40 minutes from the Dublin in the USA, in the East Bay- my best friend in high school lived there. Trippy town, the bay is very brackish at that point so has this weird kinda of mariner atmospher in the air. My friend was German/ Italian, not Irish though he was catholic. Its near a city named fremont were I almost had my first sexual encounter in highschool- she had crank (meth) but I messed that one up in a big way because I went to a jesuit boys school and didn't know how to handle girls. Years latter heroin cured me of that. Anyway, I will reply to previous posts alittle later.

Needles dont scare me- unsanitary conditions caused by prohibition do.
Quick question- so good dope tastes alittle fish. Does it leave a red trail or is that bad dope. Good mex dope, the best taste like bitter medicine with a hint of heroin tar sweetness, maybe tate left over from opium. It mealts quicly and leaves a very light grey trail.

@brimz: I'm 25, using heroin for 1.5 years now. Bought some h in Hamburg this summer, which was really good gear.
@jspun: I don't think it's tar, it's heroin freebase as it is sold everywhere here. But pretty decent really.

Well just bought my last 7bags +1 for being a regular of some lush pale powder, same asian H as normal. Got 4-5 oc 80's then its back on the phy tabs for a month to get the tollerance down. Got 2 rocks yesterday v average and 3 bags fro hackney that is getting better still not a patch on the tenner a point gear but x3 .2 for a score nearly makes up for it.

Charlie, your advice is good. Yea, Aleister Crowley is one of my favorite authors. Diary of a Drug Fiend was great, a period piece that all us dope fiends can relate to. Today, I called my new friend. I am buying stuff at overinflated prices. He lives in an upstair addict- small place in downtown San diego at the edge of the despicable gentrification that turned the adjacent area into cookie cutter wanna be artist lofts. His house is ghetto. But he is a nice guy- a tranplant from the Bronx who lots of stories about the scene there in the 70s-2008. Anyway, you all know what a sucker I am for info about scenes around the world.
Today was gonna be good but got some. He also had some meth. Called it lemon drop- its crystaline powder instead of the more sought after "shards" or "glass" crstaline form. Smoked alittle but it made my heart race- hadn't had my benzos- big mistake.
About the twats, because my hommie was having a problem. I think for most of them, they are addicted to the whole power aspect. And when there is some scarcity, they take advantage because they can. But as the situation improves so does their work ethic or cutomer service, else free market forces crush them.
I hear that in some places stateside, I think Ohio or Chicago is one, when there is a new batch they have passouts- they give out free samples to get people coming back. And one article said that they have a crew- there are shift supervisors and if someone is late delivering they get free dope. Also they handle cutomer complaints.
Unbelievable- there is nothing like this here in SD but I here TJ is similar. My friend was telling me that he was such a good customer (a typically people walk across the border) that he would get an escort back to the border to make sure he got there safe. And using the head of the crew he ws going to at the restaurant that he would cop at was a get out of jail free card with alot of the local law enforcement.
Anyway, I like the people on this thread. You have been like family and very supportive even though I'm a bloody yank. But I'm a yank from CA which is a nicer sort of yank. Not quite the Yanky Noodle Wankers to the extent of some of my country men in other states. Although with like 35 million people California has some wankers too. Schwarzenger was elected governor twice and Jerry Brown was reelected after being governor back in the late 70s. Reagan and Nixon were from this state (Although Reagan did more for the punk movement in the 80s then maybe Maggie Thatcher...lol) And Nixon did help catalyze the post Johnson Hippie movement and his policies contributed to the sex, drugs, rock n roll, and coke/qualuudes disco orgy that was the 70s.
Anyway, another tangent. California is cool. I've been to Europe but not the UK or Eire. But I reasonably say that the average person in Either country is much more progressive, hip, or cool than the average American. But we have pockets of coolness- Northern CA, Oregon, Colorado, Alaska, Northern AZ, Parts of New Mexico, NYC, Boston, New Orleans. But its mostly the Pacific States that are cool. But its always the lame ones that can afford to travel and uphold the loud, crass, and styless stereotypes.
Want to travel to Europe this summer. Might stay in Greece for much of the trip but would like to check out the UK/ Eire/ and some of the continent. Its a long shot because we are short on funds presently but maybe next year. My wife is of British decent and Northern Irish- athough she can trace some of her ancestors to colonial times she has a great aunt that lived in Oxfordshire- so I wouldlike my daughter to become exposed to that side of her heritage. Especially when her mom has 100% ancestry traced to the UK- this is alot rarer than it used to be as America becomes more Pluralistic.

VW I'm sure its not tar. You are probably right unless its cooked with sugar and hardens. Tar is just semi refined opium latex that is aceylated in glacial acetic acid and not worked up. Good for smoking and some of it can be much better than expected. To your knowledge, how bad did the drought hit Germany, the UN makes it sound like the continent was not as effected as the UK/Eire although I have heard differing reports. Are things back to normal quality/ price wise.

Yeah, most of the heroin here (#3, freebase) comes in rocks.
How common is getting #4 heroin in Europe? From my understanding it's #3 just about everywhere.
