I just saw Rudd down at Spotlight... I think he was buying 4KM of Red tape to wrap up the IR and AWA laws.... Howard got the laws in... Rudd knows they are good for our economy... he will stall on changing them for as long as possible.. Just wait and see.

And for the record. I agree with you about the Voting thing, its disgusting that people are willing to spend millions on voting to 'create' the next music superstar yet wont give 10 minutes to help the country. But the sad fact is most people are either lazy, indifferent or plain out stupid. Thats why we have people who spend their whole life educating themselves on how to make RATIONAL decisions about the direction our country needs/should head in the future. However much we might disagree with the underlying morals behind what politicians do. I would be surprised to see even 5 people on this forum who would make a good one..

Dont try and excuse unions mate. Im in the industry, i see what happens behind closed doors. Yeah fair enough, our pay and conditions have improved. You saying thats the only result of the union movement? Wake up.
