Still some major holes and a lot of promised artists that havent been accounted for, but this is what ive found so far.

I really hope it doesnt carry to the front gate, but I can sadly see it happening.

I feel that this unprofessionalism stems from the fact that they're trying to organize about 3 other events at the same time. The sad part about that though, is that none of the events are up to where they should be in terms of planning.

I can definitely see how Insomniac is turning into a money grabbing company only. What they pulled at Nocturnal with those stupid money cards was the first sign, and now not putting up a full line up for any of their events (which are only weeks away) is verifying it.

I feel like what they're doing is just trying to sell out first bassed off of the few artists theyve put up, praying on the younger crowd to just buy a ticket cause its a large party and everyone else is doing it, and then they'll eventually put up a line up once its sold out or once they see that ticket sales arent rising as fast as they were.

Its really sad, and ive lost a lot of respect for insomniac from the shit that they've pulled in the last year.
 
Word. Tis a shame. Maybe it's OK though. Maybe it's about time for a little bit of a collapse so that some of the smaller companies can come up.

One company I've been noticing is DoLab. They seem to coming up.
 
Finally, the full line up is up!!

Fuck yes on the Basement Jaxx set! (Sad it's a DJ as the last time I saw them it was only a DJ set as well, but damn idc I love Basement Jaxx)

WODNB i believe may still be touring the usa so it wouldnt surprise me if they returned for friday, dieselboy & the drumz crew did last year.
i hope they dont dub out the dnb. last years line up for dnb was EPIC to say the least so i hope they book another solid night of top talents in dnb and just keep dub seperate. theres enough space in the collesium. andy c and hype as always stole the show in dnb IMO, i hope they return. u are definatly right dnb got shafted by being put in the dirt. but where they had dnb previous years was SOOOO small, but suited the bad line ups those years, they need a new spot, definatly cement or atleast grass!!

MSTRKRFT is so hit and miss, dude. The first time I saw them I stayed for like 10 minutes, went "holy crap this is boring" and went to go see Flying Lotus who killed it (Coachella 2009). The second time I saw them though (Lollapalooza 2009), they melted my face and made my pants wet in all the right places.

Ive found the hit or miss theory to hold out from my friends as well. Ive heard a near equal amount of "omg amazing", and "dude that was shite" replies.

I hope they're good this time, but im not holding my breath.
In fact, ill be at Groove Armada for this haha.

As for the hotel, doubt it unless there's an after party there. (Which, if you're at the Adventurer, there probably will be and ill probably be there for a bit), but Im going to my friends house after for her afterparty and chillout sesh. Sozz mate.

Yes please. Basspod got shat on by Insomniac last year by putting it on the dirt. It was in a location that no one went to, and was in such a dusty area that I couldnt stand being there for more than 30 minutes at the most. I really hope they move it to grass or cement so im not blowing as many black boogers from my nose like I was last year.

With two main stages this year though, I doubt there'll be much room for anything!

My guess is that they're either using the sports arena, or the area where the line to get in was last year (like they did for Monster Massive).

Ill be bouncing around to every stage (or rather, wobbling and floating around to every stage) as it is, I just hope the layout is nice.

Last year was nice on layout, but still a pain in the arse to get around in those crowds (and in my state ;))

I feel you about Insomniac.. The whole VIP drink limit they tried to have.. then taking so long for the full lineup.. it really has been ridiculous.. It seems as they are in it for the money now and not just for the right to throw amazing parties.. Hey Insomniac a lot of your customers are noticing this! Take note and please make this better or you will lose many of your long time and loyal customers!
 
The sad thing is though, even if they lose all their long term customers, they'll still have the younger crowd buying every ticket they can because its a party that'll make 'em look cool.

Stop partying at 4 or 5, sleep till noon. Hell, I usually get 6 hours per night so its not that big a difference.

Its all about management.

@MD: Lol probably an opener or will get a short set. I wont be there much anyways.
 
How much are single tickets going for?

I called a local vendor today and the lady said $130 and hung up, I'm assuming (hoping) that she meant for both days and not just for one ticket 8o

Assuming they're still in the $70-80 range I should be getting mine tomorrow :D
 
My friend in san diego just told me that more than one of his friends have told him that they received emails saying that EDC is canceled due to zoning issues? I highly doubt this and think it's highly unlikely, seeing as to how 100,000 people have prolly bought tickets already and, like in woodstock, I don't think they'd let zoning be an issue... well.. in woodstock they just found another location.. lalalala... someone please confirm that this is bullshit and that people are stupid... or if you have gotten one of these emails, share please

Your friend's friends are bad liars.

EDC has been at the same location for many years now. If it were to be cancelled, it wouldnt be for this issue.
 
id be there if i could stand insomniac parties anymore,

i have 4 VIP tickets anyway (sorry none for sale, all for my forums - 4ravers.fm)

i wanted to meet thizzer fer shizzzzzzz too :(
