eating Nurofen

no, idiot.
HAHAHA, so blunt
I love it

its funny that I like codeine the most out of the opiates i've tried.
Too much sedation on opiates like morphine or oxycodone, I can't think of anything or keep myself entertained in my own head except by nodding and I can't focus on anything such as a TV, the furthest I can get is slow music in the background otherwise its too much. to be honest I think the high is boring. Euphoric, but pfft.. give me psychadelics any day :p

but codeine however is nice, not too potent, euphoric. relieves pain and I can still be generally myself but a little more relaxed. Good every once in a while and or as a combination with 5-htp and weed :)

I have been listening to people moan about unsplitable packets of Nurofen for a year or so now, and it has always seemed ridiculous to me that a company would produce two different types of tablet in order to stop something which can just be done with cold water and a coffee filter anyway, so I decided to actually go and check whether this was the case. According to my sources I can assure you all that dispite what you might otherwise think, all Nurofen Plus tablets are produced in the same way and are virtually identical. There might be slight differences in the strength of the bond between halves or the thickness of the coating on the outside but they are most certainly all produced in exactly the same way.

The person I discussed this with was esspecially clear on all the packets, whether 12, 24 or 48, contain the same type of tablets. So I cant understand why people keep talking about unsplitable tablets.

Morpher; antihistamines will stop the itching, the information is in virtually every codeine thread on the whole of bluelight. Just take one standard Claratyne or other antihistamine brand about 1/2 a hour before you intend to take the codeine and you will find, just like magic, virtually no itching.

I was wondering how does codine go down say back at the house after a night out pilling? Anyone tried it?

Is it a fairly safe thing to mix with MDMA or not?

Does it bring back any of the roll?

josh_nexus thats ver interesting. Maybe the really splittable ones are old boxes that have been on the shelf for a while or something? Anyway I hear wat youre saying, its just that the difference between a slittable and a so called non splittable is quite significant.

In short, no and no. It won't bring back your roll, although it can make the comedown smoother (dose dependent), and I highly warn you of the liver aches and pains that follow a few days later. I've tried this with nurofen halves as well as rikodeine, and both gave me a sore lower stomach for the next day. Admittedly I was up and bouncing again a few days later, but the safer alternative (since in this scenario you've just had a good night's mdma, give yourself a break for at least 12-24 hours!)

Ive been told that its actually quite bad to have codeine and pills at the same time. I was told this by some guy, there was no evidence or reasoning provided to back up his claim, but it does make sense. I wouldnt do it if i were you, to be on the safe side.

I'm 100% sure that the pills in the 72 packs don't have half codeine half ibuprofen like the pills in packs of other quantities.

To test this theory for yourselves do the following:

Grab a pill from one of the 12,24 or 48 packs and put it in the microwave for 1 minute. Note how the ibuprofen crumbles away very easily leaving the solid codeine half (this is also a very effective way of splitting "unsplittable" batches BTW).

Do the same with one from a 72 pack. You'll notice how the whole pill goes crumbly and there is no solid half as in pills from other quantity packs.

Also, if you look at the printing on the foil of the 72 blister packs you'll notice that it is on a different angle to that of other size packs.

I'm pretty much positive that the only way to get the codeine without the ibuprofen in 72 packs is with a CWE. So avoid these packs or be careful if you use them! This suggests to me that once old stocks have run out, all quantities will contain the 'new' unsplittable pills. Looks like the manufacturers have got wise to our caper... :\

and upsetting.

So microwave unsplittable batches huh? Ive thought about that, but remember heat kills codeine apparently. Or is that just heated liquid?

If you get your timing right then the ibuprofen just crumbles away leaving the good stuff intact and I've noticed no ill effects even when the codeine half is blackened from being in the nuker too long (although eating burnt nurofen plus halves certainly raised some odd looks from my flatmates!). This technique works amazingly well. It's almost easier than splitting the pills with a knife!

As I said in my previous post, the fact that the new pills seem to have the ingredients fully mixed and are not splittable strongly suggests to me that the manufacturers will produce all pills this way once existing supplies are exhausted. So stock up now - online pharmacies are your friend!

some places let you get up to 4 packs of 48 per order and you can place multiple orders. At ~ $10 per pack it works out to be much cheaper even when you factor in freight costs.

eating nurofen has made me realize that ignorance is bliss when it comes to opiates, they are just so damn pleasant ive been on codeine basicly everyday for the past month because of this thread. But by eating nurofen ive managed to give up smoking tho so at least some good with the bad, i dont know what addicition is worse tho..., im gona try going cold turkey tomorro

dam i wish i had never read this thread

Yeah its just so damn convenient isnt it? Im with you - massive break for a while.

i was under the impression that codeine and ibuprofen, as chemicals, can not possibly mix together - otherwise what is the point in making N+ in neatly divided sides of one chemical per side in the first place? . . .

though i must say, when i bought my one and only 72 pack, and discovered that the pills didnt split at all the way im used to, it does raise some interesting questions . . . they seemed to just split as you would expect an tablet that you cut in half, with crumbly faces as well . . .

what we need is for someone with knowledge about codeine and ibuprofen to come in and say that they either can be mixed together in a tablet, or that they cant, becuase this whole issue is starting to bug me . . .

Crow011 - I'm not saying that they have combined the two chemicals together. What I think they've done is 'swirl' them through the pill. Think about a 'marbled' black and white chocolat bar - that's precisely what I think they've done with the new pills.

If you doubt it, do the microwave experiment I described on the previous page (i wish I had a digicam so I could post photos!).
