I could bother to thank everyone and go on with how much fun i had, but we all know what happened and who was there..
When is does Episode 2 take place??
I'm up for driving.. just need to sequester a car not so petrol thirsty.

I didn't spend a lot of time with you people except for icantfeelmylegs but i briefly met some of you (don't know who is who except for Fylar) and all I have to say to you is building a dam with you in the river was fun but the drive to get food into Bairnsdale.. we're both lucky I wasn't quite myself otherwise the more I think about it the more I wouldn't have let you drive. Your driving and my car are not designed for each other (still trying to convince mum that I didn't rally drive my brand new ford festiva... actaully I didn't rally drive it..YOU did) but its all good.

Mm.. Earthcore.. what can I say?!?
I had a beautiful experience with a lot of rockin people.. and as much as I wish I could.. I can hardly remember any of the Bluelighters names that I met.. I know that annoys a few.. but I remember YOU and the time we had.. and that is at least.. a good thing.
The river was fuXN amazing.. and without it I think a lot of people would have gone a bit nutty.. I got sunburned to shit.. but I treat it more as a battlescar.. something to be proud of.. apart from not being able to enjoy the hot as fuck showers anymore. Last time I get sunburned on the first day.. Raarh!
and as I speak I am washing the smell out of everything.. EVERYTHING I OWN!!
well.. i'm still a skattered bunni and I shall not indulge for at LEAST a month.. but it was all good.
Thanks to all you who were there.. makin it quite possibly the best thing i've ever been to.

WHAT?? you guys actually needed to recover??? Blue kitten, Lozz, Fylar and myself decided that we needed a fresh hit of BRISBANE HARDCORE and made a mission in TechnoMad (local club) on Saturday. BULK FUN!!! Tarsy and Mikey: remind us to take you to the park-of-death-and-all-things-bulk-crazy.
On a semi-serious note... i think i did some bulk damage to my brain. coz on saturday, there is was two-hour period of memory loss

... which included: tree climbing, bulk-missions and numerous phone calls. (dont worry tars, i can remember speaking to you

) It cant be toooo serious tho, coz my brain seems to be working fine now

Beddles: it was great to run into you in such a weird way. Sorry to admit this.... but i would have had your tent up in a few minutes, but it was WAY too funny watching a bulk-scattered Roamer attempting to assemble it

Well, I've finally made it back to civilisation after the stupendous odyssey which was Earthcore.....
Hang on a minute! THIS is civilisation????
Where is the dustbowl-tentopolis which feels so like home? Where is the uber-tribe of glorious bluelighters making merry hither and thither? Where the Easter Island heads speaking flame and fervour to the night? The space-faerie chill zone? The local? The witches' bus? The HAL-9000 pod bay on the hill?
Where are the half-hour tofu burgers with the complimentary side-order of bumcrack? The carnies dripping sweat and menace in the market-place? The all-over smiley? The groove and the beat? The indescribably superlative tunes???? The cure for all ills in those sweet, tiny pills? The tickets to freedom on miniscule pages of blotter? Where is the great Mitchell River..... gungans and carnies and elves (oh my!)?
O woe, they are gone and with them my brain... How many sleeps 'til next Earthcore?

Aaaaaaaaaaaah, what an extreme, awesome pilgrimage!!!! What a start to the new millenium!!! Thanks to all of you for helping make it the stupendous experience it was!! (It was also my defacto 30th (Shhhh! STOP that! All of you!! I'm NOT old! I'm NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! My income's still a higher number than my age! Weeeelllllll... JUST!) so that's another reason I won't be forgetting it in a hurry!)
Highlights (that I can remember!!)included:
* the unexpected helter-skelter blast-off experience on my first night... a sweet rolls royce, J's magic energy drink, and numerous speaker massages with Big Mike, meeting the bluelighters while they were all tripping and I was having my first G experience (thanks soooooo much, J! I owe you, mate!).... phwoaaaaaaar...what a night!
The discovery of fataliss' spectacular bananafish sculpture in the renegade carnie chill tent! Woohoo!!!

I LOVED IT!!! (I went back on the last morning to see if I could take it home, fataliss, but, alas, it had departed. *sigh* Oh, well, guess I'll just have to get your design tattooed in blue on my arm!!

)
The indescribably awesome NYE spectacular! The DJs!!! The sets!!! The people!!! The pills!!! (First ever Green CU blew my head off in the most exquisitely delicious manner!)

That night seemed to last forever and I will never forget it!!! It even beats last year's alien universe doof (which was superb!) and the year I went firewalking unexpectedly with my bf!
And the trip to the river!!!

(Thanks for organising that, Yaytima and Cosmic!) Awesome! You ARE my JEDI OF CHOICE, Zaius... the Force is strong in you... our river mission to Dagobah was THE highlight of Earthcore for me!! I can't wait to develop the photos of the gungans and carnies and elves (oh my!) and the bugs, that we took in the river for the spacelab!!

And Zaius washing the windscreen of ST with red cordial!! LOL!

And, thinking of that, all the damned Star Wars fans in bluelight!!! Go the Force!! We'll have to have that tripping night to watch the trilogy and have lightsabre fights in the garden of Alderaan if Finn and Zaius will allow it... Finn? Zaius? Hmmmmmnnnn?
And the psytrance on my last night was stupendous. Even from a reclined and motionless position in the bluelight mobile chill beneath the octopus and the jellyfish!!

And the somersaulting boy and the epiphany on the rock on my last night.... *sigh*.
Okay, okay, I'll stop now!!! It ALL was stupendous!!! My only disappointment was not managing to find my attorney....

OK then. Damn. don't let me go so long without checking my email again. 67 freaking messages. grrrrrrrrrr
but enough about me.
'nuff suspense waiting for me to reply.
-note: this is a very quick summary. Have blurred vision at the moment and i think a full scale debriefing would be too long. mucho apologies.)
What a trip down for starters. After being fucked around by The Car Company ie them giving us a car with no Toeball, we finally got away some 22 hours later then planned. But theres not point crying over spilt milk. So we spilt some milk and did not cry.
Pulled over by the police on suspicion of stealing trailers and towing them between Vic and QLD. That was fun. all things considered..
Tyre blew at 4am. Absolutely deathly chill wind blowing. I volenteered to stay in the car and make sure nothing went wrong there.
5 minutes later, a Bird flys into (luckily not through) our windscreen. Get to Melb. Finally. hook up with Tarsy and M/S (as i shall hereby be referring to MikeySammy as - at least while i remember to - that will probly be the only time i use it) and grabbed the tent and some tips of Hazza. He's a good horse. Hasn't lost a marquee in 13 years. Impressive.
In short. we got there eventually. And boy was it worth it

First thing i hear once we arrive - a bellowing Hastey requesting to be introduced to us all. Nice one hastey

Slept. Well for 2 hrs. Got up. Had speed. Erected tent. Huge thanks to all who brought stuff to make that tent as 'ours' as we did. I loved it in there

Here is where i best stop. So much happened. I will write up a proper review (including individual rankings (well no there won't be but anywho...))
needless to say, magnificent time was had by me with each and every one of you delightfully mischievious people. Huge thanks to all who made it for me. One special thanks to Mr Fist's trainer

had such a glorious time down at the river. One of the funnest days i have had for literally years. ahhhh G
