I just like to eat well.

I prefer Farage to Cameron. He's entertaining at least.

Tonight I cobbled together a meal from what we had in. a sort of Spanish hot-pot, lol.

Chicken thighs, stew base (celery, carrots, onions), red pepper, smoked paprika, lots of garlic, thinly sliced potatoes on top sprinkled with olive oil and more smoked paprika...hot oven, lovely crispy potato layer on top, unctuous chickeny stew underneath...

Was better than it sounds.

Sounds bloody tasty again that hotpot thingy, MM. Am coming to yours for dinner one of these days ;)

In munching news, think I might just make meself a crumble tonight. Been hankering after such a beast for weeks now. Got plenty tinned fruit in and all the other necessaries. Also got some plain yoghurt wot needs using sharpish so seems the perfect (albeit kinda slim :D) excuse to go for it. Got a camera and necessaries now so if it comes out any good I may even take a pic and post it =D
 
Forgot to post a pic of my aubergine thing the other night - started off as a bake but ended up being served with pasta.

I wished I had served the potato wedges in a small bowl as it would have made for a much better photo :D (The bread/chicken and wedges seem to blend into one mass and spoils the photo) but thank you.

I'm sort of a drifter to be honest - I move around a lot. (really hard to explain)

(I specialize in a very specific type of security :D)

Pfft, nothing for a while - opted for cigarettes instead. Money's wearing thin, wont be getting paid until Monday...its been a long 10 days I tell you.

I'll make up a few burgers in a bit but theres little point before the family gets home as I am in my fuck doing the entire process twice, no matter how bored I may be.

Did make that crumble t'other night. Also took pix cos looked okay considering. Still struggling wiv Blutoof though. Didn't taste brilliant unfortunately. Peaches were horrid and the crumble was kinda claggy. Need real fruit and to sort me crumble ratio out methinks. Still, made a nice change.

Also made a nice change for dins tonight. Co-Op started doing a tex-mex stylee selection of not-readymeals of late and been loads in the reduced bin since. Picked up a chicken fajita one for 50p yesterday and just nommed it. Was surprisingly good considering. Tasted fine to me. Not a patch on Sadie's homemade tex-mex stuffs (obviously) but not bad at all for a not-readymeal. Only real complaint was that the tortillas were teensy so ended up totally overstuffed and a right mess to eat. Tasted pretty good though.
 
Just took my pizza out the packet and was horrified.

Today I opened my Goodfellas stonebaked thin Barbeque Chicken Pizza bought from tesco. It had absolutley no chicken on it whatsoever, just cheese and a paltry amount of vegetables clustered in a single place on the pizza. I spoke to tesco and they informed me I would have to speak to the supplier about a refund or possible another pizza. This has certainley ruined my lazy saturday experience and I hope to be reimbursed.

Im hoping for some more pizza.
 
Sarnie was great Shambles and no real cooking involved just put everything in the Forman Grill :D. By the time the wedges were cooked (microwaved them first as we were hungry) all the rest was cooked. Tex mex stuff sounds interesting, I like Mexican food but normally only ever make Fajitas / Chili at home so should really try something else.

We had pasta in tomato sauce :).
 
I find tescos value salad cream is really nice, and quite healthy, some of it is loaded with fat
 
I don't mind super market branded stuff in general. I always get asda or tescos own tomato sauce, burger relish, mayo, pickle, tartar sauce, baked beans, cheese, eggs, canned soup, pasta sauces, pasta, rice and so on and on and on... as it's cheaper than the 'big' brands and tastes the same or so similar it doesn't matter. They are obviously half the price in a lot of cases.

Salad cream is one of the few things that I'll pay more for the Heinz version, rather than a supermarkets own brand.
