Sounds pretty good, that.

I've just got some apple pie flavoured mini Magnums and they are in fact amazing, though have managed to start melting during the two minute walk from the shop. Can't see em lasting too long though to be fair.
 
Recently munched the last of the two choux pastry rings wiv sour cherries, almonds and cream. Am not usually one for cream-filled things but the cherries and almonds more than made up for it and they were reduced to a quid for two so couldn't resist.

In cooking news, have also made use of cherries (fresh ones in this instance) recently in the form of homemade cherry 'n' choc chip cookies. In all honesty, they were a bit too cakey (I did follow a recipe but had to alter a few ingredients and halve overall quantities so think I must've screwed up somewhere along the way) but given everything in 'em was lushy this was no major issue. Essentially I ended up with smallish mini-mounds of cherry (dried some in t'oven, rest were added fresh) and choc chip (choc being a small(ish) bar of Ghanaian high cocoa content choc with cinnamon and sakay peppers broken into chunks) cakey things. Really rather tasty and still got a few left.

My breakfast, it's 8am here.



Two duck eggs, whisked with milk and pepper, an onion and an egg, half omeletted, as I can't fully omelet using a wok!

With a cuppa tea.

I've only got porridge in the office for breaky which doesn't really appeal today. I've eaten some strawberries and white flesh nectarines to keep me going.
 
I made a parsley sauce last night to go with cooked chicken, got a load left so made hummus with a few tablespoons of the sauce added and had that with fresh tomato in a crusty baguette.
