Finished off the 2nd half of my Cottage Pie tonight.

Also had a Gü 'After Dark Key Lime Pie' ... very tasty but not that big. I do love me a key lime pie. :)
 
I like those gu things but yeah you're right, they're not very generous for the price. Anyway, I just had a bowl of porridge and thought of this thread. Is it weird eating porridge in summer? Quite possibly. Ah well.
 
I haven't cooked in a few days as haven't been very well - feel better today so, Flapjacks (walnut and raisin), Biscotti (chocolate and almond) chili bread buns (first rise) and got some Teriyaki chicken marinating and that is going with an Asian style 'slaw' for tea.

I've been eating a lot of meat recently, so I had a veggie meal tonight... Stuffed Peppers.


The mix they are stuffed with was: Red Onion, Chestnut Mushrooms, Courgette, Walnuts & Brown Breadcrumbs topped with a little Cheese.

Chicken, onions and peppers in a Teriyaki sauce - had that with some veggie / salad (and home made chili bread rolls). Awful photo

Om nom nom medium rare steak. Have had quite a bit of steak tartare lately as it seems to be all the rage in taster menus at the moment, though. Mmm, raw meat.
