I admired the autonomy of that line Raas but it still sounds a bit totalitarian for my liking, knowwhatImean?
Mmmmm... In the bible it says Jesus always spoke with "Great authority". I see a difference between being authoritive and being totalitarian. Must be pretty cool to say it out loud to people though.

And yeah, we're most likely channeling shit from celestial beings, that'll be it.
In light of my own experience, and the claims of thousands of other people (particularly DMT), it's more than a reasonable argument.

PS Were gonna take your churches off you. Decided we like them (see above).
ha, keep off our territory. I put money on your skin melting as you walk through the doors.

I watched it. Still an atheist. Smoked DMT many times. Still an atheist. There is no next life. I feel sorry for you, pinning your hopes on something awesome happening when you die. Live your life now, enjoy now.

Well *Shrugs* I guess it works for some and not for others. ColtDan, being someone it did actually work for.
That is an AMAZING video. Even though it's 13:26 minutes of some guy with a boring voice talking, what he reveals is so fascinating.
You can develop and shape your consciousness into whatever you want it to be. It doesn't have to be 'animalistic', that's what's so great about it. You can choose to do fuck all with it if you want. Alternatively, you can consciously decide to develop empathy and replace anything animalistic that's a problem, in a heartbeat
I agree, but I'm saying the make-up of the consciousness is supposedly animalistic. The animals consciousness allow them feel, eat, drink, mate etc Ours becomes more advanced and with the associated complexity allows us develop personalities, make more use of the faculties? yes?
So how the hell do you explain these mind-blowing spiritual DMT trips from a consciousness not that much more progressed from a chimpanzee? How do you chance that our genes have evolved in such a way that the mind leaves these people able to access a different realm and see things transcending our worlds normalities? You can't. (This point is made much more clear on the above video)

It's an even greater waste of anyones LIFE to be even paying a modicum of attention to the ridiculous specifics of one particular religious dogma. I see that as Inhumane and anti-human. It revulses me tbh
While I see what you're saying, that adhering to dogmata can lead to living life in a restricted, limited and un-liberating way. We must consider who writes these doctrines, why they are in place and what is their intention? Now, if they come from a perfect mind (God) and written with the intention of benefiting an individual, and helping them spiritually it doesn't sound so criminal. We must accept that as humans we DO and WILL make mistakes
especially rickolasnice and so the introduction of these tenets have their role in becoming a spiritual aid, to benefit those who choose to listen.
Not so bad, eh? There is philosophy behind the tenets. They're not written to restrict your life experience, but to progress and protect it. To go so far as to trust and adhere to these dogmas comes from a faith which has perhaps given reason for its authenticity in other ways.
