Exactly. We've had a swell of reformist Popes in the last century, and though the Church certainly has a viciously dogmatic school, as exemplified by Benedict, there is more than one school of thought in the Catholic church. Which is the one true faith.

Popes are infallible. They only get one chance by definition.

They've only been infallible since 1870 (at least formally). That was my point.
