Which brings us to a great point. Is it not abundantly clear that the spirituality of our minds greatly transgresses the evolutional expectations of an animalistic consciousness!?

Surely anyone who's got in touch with this, whether it be through DMT or types of intense meditative yoga (almost certainly DMT for you lazy cunts), cannot deny, that our nature supercedes this world and the idea of atheism is an illogical delusion?!?

I used to avoid psychedelics in case they introduced me to religion or turned me into a vegetarian. Thankfully that never happened. =D

DMT is not for lazy cunts, you have no fucking idea, and yes our nature supercedes this world and the idea of atheism. i assume you think im atheist because i dont believe in jeebus

My opinion =

Everything is connected, as one, mothernature is the boss and she doesnt judge, nature doesnt judge it just IS, humanity thinks its so special but it aint, you can be spiritual without religion, perhaps the universe is "god", as for heaven and hell it exists on earth, the suffering people have endured is hell, the holocaust, rapes and all sorts of stuff innocent people endured, "repent your sins to god and he will forgive you" what a crock of shit

You can develop and shape your consciousness into whatever you want it to be. It doesn't have to be 'animalistic', that's what's so great about it. You can choose to do fuck all with it if you want. Alternatively, you can consciously decide to develop empathy and replace anything animalistic that's a problem, in a heartbeat

And your question Raas, just proves that there's something we do not understand, not that there's a god. It proves that we're still asking the wrong fucking questions (scientifically) and therefore keep getting the wrong fucking answers. instead of focusing on different ways of processing information that it's not comfortable with, it's rigidity will remain and never be able to see past it's own stupid arse ...

It's a total waste of time and life, a travesty, that the average joe wastes their time deliberating the god question until better methods of investigation are developed.

It's an even greater waste of anyones LIFE to be even paying a modicum of attention to the ridiculous specifics of one particular religious dogma. I see that as Inhumane and anti-human. It revulses me tbh

The point was raised as an argument to atheist posters on the board. I think there's more than enough spirituality in the world to completely discredit atheist beliefs.

Was blatantly being tongue-in-cheek with the "lazy cunt" comment for those taking drugs over yoga.


EDIT - this thread gives me a headache, so night all. I've been inspired to watch "DMT the spiritual molecule". This looks suuuuper cool.

Personally I do not recommend DMT and wouldn't take it. Seems to give people re-assurance of life after death and take away the fear of dying... but I fear this is playing on lack of faith in God, and experiencing these things in this life is going to maybe lessen the experience in the next life, when their time is truely due. Maybe...
 
I've decided to knock drugs on the head. Its the associations with sorcery that concern me. Could be fear raas but I've had some scary visions.. could be all in my head. Could be misinterpretation of scripture/spirit.. Could be.. but there's not a chance i want to be hoofed up every wrong way by a vindictive Nazi goat for eternity though.


Can we look at drugs and connection with sorcery in bible at some point please?

I don't think the Bible explicitly condemns drugs at any point, but there's plenty said against drunkenness, that's for sure, and the virtues of sobriety are praised throughout.

Sorcery is of course unambiguously proscribed. It's only subsequent generations, however, who seem to have made the link between what we would today regard as 'drugs' and what was then regarded as 'sorcery'. And let's not forget that the Biblical definition of 'sorcery' (as well as the definition used in the persecution of 'witches' throughout the following centuries) was extremely ambiguous and extremely broad in scope.

I'm confident raas will do the noble thing and come to a womans rescue with some big pharma/sorcery/ eli lilly/pfizer/revelations (sorcery deceiving everyone) exegesi of stuff sammyG. I'm not eve. I dont know stuff neither do i want to.

Churches, and the green spaces surrounding them will end up being the last sacred plots of greenary, when every last brown field and greenfield site has been abused and built on, thru councils granting private business building permissions. They like ignoring rules like that and cant be trusted to protect anything.

I love churches, their surrounding areas, and inside them too. The aroma inside your typical old English church is unique and awesome. Their grounds will end up being flooded with wildlife as all the surrounding areas grow smaller and smaller.

I think I might only be talking CofE churches, I dunno, not up on this religious shit. Aren't Catholic churches revoltingly over-large, an ostentatious show of wealth? And those Baptist chapels all kind of look the same, shitty 19th century efforts? And the methodist chapels are a bit rubbish too right?

Oh God am I an Anglican or something? I hope not. I can't abide John Selwyn-Gummer.

Likesay Sam, I'm ignorant of religion. All I can say is the first looks like Baptist but you say you dont have any so Ill say Methodist - and its the kind I dont like. Second one looks CofE (Anglican?) and has some groovy towers. Third one is kind of funky and kind of not. Norwegian Orthodox? Can you tell I'm guessing? Oh shit is the first a catholic? Is the Pope a Catholic?

Ok I cheated and saw the 3rd is Methodist and the first two have Saints names which means....
 
Pentacostal/charismatics just took over a couple of services at an old army Church (anglican) in Windsor so its hard to say. Offiocial its Anglican but the majority of worshippers are happy clappy and jumpy.

Used to meet in an old boys secondary school.

Welsh preacher liked superman...
