He's the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him....He's the only one qualified to be an all sufficient Saviour...... I wonder if you know Him today?

He supplies strength for the weak....He's available for the tempted and the tried....He sympathizes and He saves....He strengthens and sustains....He guards and He guides....He heals the sick....He cleanses lepers....He forgives sinners....He discharges debtors....He delivers captives....He defends the feeble....He blesses the young....He serves the unfortunate....He regards the aged....He rewards the diligent....and He beautifies the meek....... I wonder if you know Him?

Well, my King....is the King....He's the key to knowledge....He's the wellspring to wisdom....He's the doorway of deliverance....He's the pathway of peace....He's the roadway of righteousness ....He's the highway of holiness....He's the gateway of glory....... Do you know Him?

Well....His office is manifold....His promise is sure....His light is matchless....His goodness is limitless....His mercy is everlasting....His love never changes....His word is enough....His grace is sufficient....His reign is righteous....and His yoke is easy, and his burden is light. I wish I could describe Him to you, but He's indescribable....He's incomprehensible....He's invincible....He's irresistible.

Well, you can't get Him out of your mind....You can't get Him off of your hand....You can't out live Him, and you can't live without Him....The Pharisees couldn't stand Him, but they found out they couldn't stop Him....Pilate couldn't find any fault in Him....The witnesses couldn't get their testimonies to agree....Herod couldn't kill Him....Death couldn't handle Him, and the grave couldn't hold Him. Yea!!!, that's my King, that's my King.

Father..."Thine is the Kingdom....and the Power....and the Glory....Forever"....and ever, and ever, and ever, and ever. How long is that? And ever...and ever...and when you get through with all the forevers, then.... AMEN!....AMEN!
 
Beautiful words, NE. though I did chuckle when after 5 paragraphs of describing Jesus it says: " I wish I could describe Him to you, but He's indescribable".

Who do you feel closest too? God, Jesus or Angels?

No. I came a bit close to joining the hare krisnas a long time ago though! They do good food.

I'm a pantheist, raas, if I'm any theist at all. There is no separate supreme being. We are all little twists in the fabric of a single cosmic unity. It seems to me, when I'm most fucked on drugs, that we are a vibration in a medium, we are here to enjoy a physical existence, but making it a work of pleasure rather than a work of torment requires some serious well-directed effort.

No not true. Our animal heritage, based on our DNA that we have come to know is a great illusion. Like it or not, it's intellectually deficient. Playing into the illusion however is dangerous as it's a cold illusion, animalistic, free of morality. This is why it's important to distinguish from the soul and flesh. Recognise what is beautiful and protect it.

No-ones homosexual, bisexual or heterosexual. We're truly all asexual. It's just we've been deceived and don't recognise the illusion.

That's the best thing Christianity has done for me. Given me the confidence to dissociate from the dating game; which is often governed by egoism and pride. No more being another slut. No more pursuance of desirability. But respecting all humans and abstaining from desires which affect those relationships.

True fact: I haven't been on a date for... about 9 years now
 
Oh I'm not saying being a slut is the right thing... I think sex and love are things best done together, no doubt. But some people love in different ways, and have sex in different ways, and sexual love seems to have time limitations, so I think monogamy for life is a big mistake. Unless it isn't, and that's a personal thing.

And that's just from observation of myself and others.
 
I personally think it's about fighting through our immature understandings of each other, fighting through these ignorant egoistic animalistic desires... and finding love in a soul mate. Yes, I believe monogamy is the truly successful path.

I seriously cannot believe that grown-ups are having serious conversations like this.

Is there a forum for debating whether the little minus signs on electrons are black or blue? Perhaps there is at least one college of electronics that teaches that a television set works by having tiny people inside who act out all the shows, and they have textbooks riduculing the idea of the cathode ray tube.
