EADD Socioeconomic status thread

Well.. clearly I don't care if people are discussing it again. It just seems an odd topic to be brought up so regularly, I guess.
 
^There was a study done and it showed that London is run about 70% different to the rest of the country, so dose that mean OPs question can only be answered by people that live in London.

It is strange = not sure how easy it is to link income to class anymore. My household income is above £100 which makes me sound like a rich cunt. However - we have unsecured debts of around £70k, I grew up on a council estate but was lucky to get a good education and do a challenging / do-goody sort of job. No inheritance for either of us and we are one long term illness away from utter financial ruin.

Basically I hate fucking everyone whilst realising in many ways I'm a lucky bastard...

I have a much simpler method... If you think Vienetta's are posh you are working class. If you think they are dreadfully naff you are middle class - it has never failed. I think vienettas are very posh...

And yes SHM is right.

The danger is that one of these days, somebody's going to think he's actually being a real, live c**t (as opposed to just pretending to be a c**t and imagining that isn't an even remotely c**tish thing to do) and treat him appropriately.
 
What's a Vienetta? My parents were wealthy, I went to the most expensive school in England (about 30 miles from Brimz ) I was born with a silver spoon in every orifice and find it hilarious to pay poor street people £20 to dance like a monkey for my own amusment.

How does one measure this exactly? :?

I've visited london countless times but have furthermore hardly seen anything of the UK save northern ireland *adds to to-do list*

It was a documentary I watched a few months ago about how different London is to the rest of the country, they were showing that because in the capital you earn so much more money it's a faster pace of life and the laws or the way we live are much different to anywhere else in uk. I can't remember everything word for word but they did prove it.

Haha, good shout.

Viennetas are insanely posh. I'd just about let you away with eating one if you ripped it out the box outside the shop and ate it like an ice lolly.
