Mate, there's an entire forum. It's like the staff room at a school. Plus, as I say, you can see unapproved posts, so you can make a post that only other mods can see, where you talk about what a moronic, uninformed cretin the poster above you is, and they're none the wiser. There's perks, no doubt.

Even tho you seem to possess the impaired judgement of a jird when it comes to backing candidates, you should definitely be applying.

If you want to change your screen name, just start a new account and stop using the old one. Unless you feel that your post count and join date are what consitute your standing.
 
Admins have warned me quite sternly not to do that. After i got temp banned i created about 5 new accounts as i couldnt get my original account to work again. It may be silly and illogical, but i think join date does have a bearing on standing, it means you know the history of the forum and all posters past and present. I guess once people figure out who the new alt is then it's all the same anyway.

Deffo in the case of BB.

If we're talking either knowledge base or social standing, he's still trailing in my wake with the 2012 plebian join date.

It bolsters my ego everytime I post.

you are literally asking for trouble with that post. It will be frowned upon, to say the least, if the senior staff see it. I hope it doesnt seem conceited but i think people would soon figure out my new alt, even if i didnt use Imdb, as i tend to give away lots of personal info about myself. I want to keep my 'history' now anyway, as chequered as it may be.

i do detect a disnticnt note of sarcasm, i did say it may seem silly. :o

Its nothing to get egotistical about just because one may have been here longer than someone else, but there is something in it i think, like the person who's been working at a company for years and years, everyone asks them for advice as they know all the details inside out. There is a seniority to it.
 
MDB: You can't use alts, so you can only use one account at a time, and you can't re-register to post whilst your original account is banned. If you decide, though, to stop using your old account and start a new one, that's absolutely fine, as long as you totally cease posting with the first account. It's what I did, it's what others have done. As long as you're using one account only, and aren't subject to a ban, you're legit.

But if you need any ideas for new ones, I recon there's loads more room for a few more neurotic, menopausal-pending womenfolk. Not enough of those about in EADD recently ....

thats partly what i mean about join date, i joined shorlty after that sad event. I never got to know EVAD or effie, i never got to talk to F and B neither nor Sebastian's Ghost. Such things only happened for old school and long term members. I didnt get to talk to Ektamine either, which would have been a great priviledge.
