Aye, give MM time and I reckon he'll be back. It's a big commitment modding a forum, really.. I wouldn't enjoy the pressure of it either. Or maybe he already has an alt? :sus:
 
The best perk is access to staff-only areas. Reported posts is hilarious, the staff social is OK, but my favourite was always the sourcing subforum.
 
^Yeah, it totally is. With actual nudity, and no loungerats. Plus you get to solidly slag off other posters in the privacy of the modthread. I used to like to post really withering, angry, rude things in threads, then instantly UA them, so only other staff can see. Sometimes, a thread is actually peppered with a secret conversation between the mods.

Basically you need to be a tweeker or on ADD medication to be bothered to type up all that shite %)

Should we just try to get MM back, he's on FB 24/7 so it's not like he gave up on the interwebs

Seriously they're worst than potential employers you deal with when looking for work.

Do we really need a new mod? I mean, Knock, Albion and Snolls seem to be able to take care of business, is an extra one really needed?

Since you're adopting the whole corporate tosser attitude, downsizing is a basic principle isn't it? If two people manage to get the job done then why hire a third? Personally I'd fire one of you and just overwork the remaining mod :)

You seem to understand capitalism very well, but while BL may look for all intents and purposes like Walmart or something, we're not even on minimum wage so downsizing isn't really a priority. We're not rushed off our feet but there have been several occasions when I've wished we were a slightly bigger team. It's a bit like buses, there's usually not much to do but then suddenly it all comes at once. No-one is signing themselves up for hard labour but it would be nice to have one or two other people able to muck in when needed.

Is there a thread for talking about the members behind their backs, "we'll have to keep an eye on xxxxxx etc as they have been doing xxxxxx" ?

I'd apply, and if successfull just check out that juicy thread, and then resign.

Bodda wanted the job. That would have been interesting.

I have tried PM ing 2 EADD mods and the most senior staff about it, with the best arguments i could think of, all the replies came back with different versions of 'he's been given more chances than any BLer ever, so he has no chance at all now after blowing his final, final, final, final chance.'

I know even under his Bodda persona where he did seem to mostly make the effort to be more pleasant than Farmaz, he didnt get on with everyone, but I felt he had a lot to contribute despite the problems. Im not trying to re-open the argument. I know it's dead and buried. I believe several people have tried, but there really is no chance and Im leaving it at that.
